I think if you had been to the game or watched it on the live internet feed you would have seen things differently
Incidentally Mazarron has the fourth best disciplinary record in the league. We will be without Boudia, Nacho and Jose Da (accumulation of yellow cards) on Sunday perhaps better than not having them available for the play-offs.

Basi has apparently signed, or will be signing, for UD Los Garres in the Tercera Division. As the leading scorer in the Preferente he was always going to attract attention from other clubs but it is a pity that he could not see his way to stay and help Mazarron in their attempts to move into the higher division.

At the weekly meeting of Los Amigos de Mazarron FC today, members discussed the decision of Olimpico de Totana to increase their admission prices to €8 for the game with Mazarron FC on Sunday.
It was unanimously agreed that, as a result of this decision, the members of Los Amigos would boycott the game. It was felt that Totana were taking advantage of the large number of Mazarron followers who always attend away games and expected that they would pay the increased price.
Mazarron FC have been informed of this decision and been assured of the continued loyal support of Los Amigos and asked that our good wishes are passed to the team ahead of Sunday's game.
In view of this decision the post on the Los Amigos Facebook page earlier this week advising supporters to meet to travel in convoy to the game has been deleted.
Vamos Mazarron.

MAZARRON FC 2 BALSICAS ATLETICO 0
Mazarron moved back into third place in the league with a 2-0 home win against Balsicas Atletico although they were made to work very hard by a team struggling at the foot of the league table.
Balsicas started the game brightly with their two central strikers proving a handful for the Mazarron defence without really troubling Dani Caro who was returning to the team in goal. In the first half, Mazarron were mainly restricted to long range efforts from Gato and Alfonso Canovas although the visiting keeper had to make the save of the game diving to his left to turn Basi's drive round the post.
The game sprung to life ten minutes into the second half when Basi made a typical surge into the Balsicas penalty area. His pace took him past the Balsicas keeper who made a rash dive at his feet to bring him down and the referee had no alternative but to award a spot kick. The league's leading goalscorer made no mistake as he stroked the penalty kick into the corner of the net to give Mazarron the lead.
The home team then had their best spell of the game with Basi and Dani Morales causing problems for Balsicas with their lightning pace. Dani wasted a couple of opportunities when he burst clear only to waste his final shots with Basi better placed in the middle waiting for a pass. However he made amends in the 83rd minute when he again used to pace to beat the visiting defenders before firing the ball into the far corner of the net.
Balsicas pushed forward in search of a goal but Dani Caro made a couple of good saves in the closing stages to ensure that Mazarron took all three points.
Mazarron picked up no yellow cards in the game and now only Nuestro Abaran and Balsicas have better disciplinary records than Mazarron so far this season.
Team: Dani Caro; Raul Torrano; Raso; Juan Andreo; Gato; Nacho; Dani Morales; Alfonso Canovas (Pedro); Basi; Andreo; Javi Torrano (Steven).
Man of the Match: Basi

Despite all this, apart from Monjas, the other bookings last week were for tackles and only five teams in the Preferente have a better disciplinary record than Mazarron after 12 games.

Mazarron FC move up into second place in the league after a 4-2 home victory over CF Molina.
Juvenile player Jaime, making his first start for Mazarron, gave them the lead on 13 minutes with a firm strike from the edge of the penalty area. Mazarron had a number of chances to increase their lead in the first half but were pegged back after 42 minutes with a controversial goal. Pablo made a superb save turning the ball onto the cross bar and although the defence completed the clearance the linesman, who was not up with play, flagged to say that the ball had crossed the line.
Pablo and captain Juan Andreo led the vociferous Mazarron protests but only received yellow cards for their troubles.
To make matters worse Molina took the lead two minutes into the second half when a cross from the right was backheeled into the net. Mazarron were stunned but soon rallied and their misfortune seemed to inspire them as they put the Molina defence under constant pressure. Boudia's poweful header seemed to have crossed the line but the linesman who had given Molina their goal before half time kept his flag down on this occasion.
Mazarron's hard worked paid off after 57 minutes when, following a corner, Jaime found centre half Nacho who blasted the ball home from 10 yards, Then on 71 minutes excellent work by Dani Morales on the right saw him cross to Basi and the league's leading scorer made no mistake, Three minutes later Basi scored his fourteenth of the season and Mazarron's fourth of the game after an excellent through ball from Javi Torrano.
With Abaran losing at Albanilla and Alhama being held to a 1-1 draw at bottom of the table Cartagena FC UCAM, Mazarron are now second just one point behind the new leaders CAP Ciudad de Murcia.
Team: Pablo; Raso; Juan Andreo; Nacho; Gato; Boudia; Dani Morales (Steven); Alfonso Canovas; Basi; Javi Torrano; Jaime.

Mazarron FC returned to winning ways with a hard fought 1-0 away win at Alcantarilla.
A strong wind made conditions difficult on the artificial surface and Basi scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot after he had been brought down in the 15th minute.
Both teams were indebted to their goalkeepers for some excellent saves and Mazarron hit the woodwork on three occasions. The best effort was a superb free kick from Basi which found Raul Torrano at the far post and his header across goal was headed against the bar by Alfonso Canovas (No. 8).
Mazarron had the better of the chances and Basi could have scored on at least two other occasions but his finishing was not up to his usual very high standards..
Juan Andreo made a welcome come back after his premature retirement as a second half substitute and helped shore up the defence just in front of Raso and Nacho who both defended well throughout the game. Pablo was voted Man of the Match for his excellent performance in goal.
Team: Pablo; Raul Torrano; Raso; Nacho; Gato; Boudia; Alfonso Canovas; Dani Morales (Steven); Basi; Javi Torrano; Monjas Lopez (Juan Andreo).

A last minute goal gave EF Alhama a point after Mazarron had taken the lead in the second half with Basi's 11th goal of the season.
It was an entertaining game between two well matched teams and the result could have gone either way. Alhama started brightly with ex- Mazarron striker Jose using his pace to cause trouble for the Mazarron defenders.
However, it was Mazarron who had the best chance of the first half when Javi Torrano chipped the ball over the advancing keeper only to see a defender racing back to clear off the line just as the ball was about to enter the net. Then Javi Torrano teed up Miguel who hit a powerful drive just wide of the post as the first half ended goalless.
Mazarron started the second half well with Basi always looking dangerous up front. Monjas was close with a looping shot from outside the penalty are which nestled on the top of the net and then Basi struck a first time shot just wide. The league's leading scorer was not to be denied and he gave Mazarron the lead on 59 minutes when he raced clear and beat the Alhama keeper with a crisp drive.
Alhama pushed forward in search of an equaliser but they were denied when young Mazarron keeper Pablo made a superb save at point blank range. Just as the home supporters thought that the three points were in the bag, Monjas failed to clear the ball and Alberto took advantage to fire home the equaliser in the 89th minute.
It was a much better performance by Mazarron with the team unrecognisable from the one thrashed 7-1 away at CD Algar last week, Nacho made an impressive debut at the heart of the defence alongside Raso, Dani Morales caused problems for the Alhama defence with his pace down the right and Basi gave his usual hard working performance which, together with his goal, earned him the Man of the Match award.
Team; Pablo; Raul Torrano; Raso; Nacho; Gato; Boudia; Dani Morales (Steven); Basi; Miguel (Jaime); Javi Torrano; Monjas Lopez.
There were five bookings for Mazarron and two for Alhama.

I think it was simply to give him "game time" now that he has moved up from the juvenile ranks. Certainly no reflection on Dani Caro who has been excellent.
Pablo had a decent game and could not be blamed for either goals.

Mazarron FC stay top of the league after another convincing win, 5-2 away to UD Abanilla this evening..
It was a poor game on a dreadful artificial pitch which barely conforms to the minimum width and is a danger to players with a concrete wall running down one side of the pitch far too close to the touchline.
Mazarron could not play their usual passing game but adapted well to the conditions and could have won by far more. They took the lead on 12 minutes when Basi was on hand to head the ball home from 10 yards.
Gato made it two just before half time when he volleyed home from 25 yards after Javi Torrano's header had rebounded off the cross bar.
Abanilla rallied briefly in the early stages of the second half but Mazarron's defence held firm. At the other end Mazarron missed a number of good chances before Basi scored his second of the game after 73 minutes after a mistake by the Abanilla keeper.
Substitute Fran Costa scored his first goal for the club on 85 minutes heading home a Raul Torrano throw in and Dani Linares made it 5-0 with a clever lob two minutes later.
Mazarron went to sleep in the last few minutes. A mistake by Raso saw Pablo making a fine save only for Alberto to fire the rebound into the net. Then Adrian Campoy was harshly penalised for handball in the area and, though Pablo made a great diving save to keep out Alberto's penalty kick he followed up to put the ball into the empty net in the 89th minute.
There was just time for Abanilla to have a player sent off before the referee blew the whistle for full time.
Basi is now joint top scorer in the league with nine goals from 6 games. Mazarron still have a one point lead over CAP Ciudad Murcia after the weekend's games and face a tough home encounter against Nuestro Abaran next Sunday.
Team: Pablo; Raul Torrano; Raso; Adrian Campoy; Gato; Boudia (Jose Da); Jose Antonio; Javi Torrano; Dani Morales; Miguel (Monjaz Lopez) Basi (FRan Costa).
Man of the Match: Basi

MAZARRON FC 6 AD ALQUERIAS 3
In one of the most remarkable games seen at the Estadio Municipal in recent years, Mazarron managed to overcome the obstacle of playing with nine men for 74 minutes to earn a 6-3 home win over AD Alquerias.
Mazarron took the lead as early as the fourth minute when Basi raced on to a through ball and easily beat the advancing Alquerias keeper. The visitors struck back almost immediately and a fierce drive rebounded off the goal post but they equalised on 13 minutes through Alvaro.
Mazarron's hopes of retaining their position at the top of the league seemed to have disappeared after 26 minutes when both Alfonso Canovas and Andreo were sent off following an incident with Alquerias's Ismail right in front of the visitors dig out. However, Basi and Mazarron had other ideas and Basi completed a remarkable first half hat trick in the 35th and 38th minutes.
Spurred on by the largest crowd of the season so far, Mazarron increased their lead in the 44th minute when Javi Torrano cut inside and shot firmly into the corner of the net to give the home team a 4-1 lead at the interval.
The second half started in the same incredible vein with Mazarron scoring twice more in the first six minutes. Firstly Dani Morales raced clear of a static Alquerias defence before rounding the keeper and slotting the ball into an empty net. Then Basi outpaced the visiting defenders with a surging run from the halfway line before scoring his fourth and Mazarron's sixth goal of the game.
Understandably the Mazarron players started to tire in the closing stages and goals from Francisco Jose and a second from Alvaro in the 79th and 81st minutes reduced the arrears and Mazarron keeper Dani Caro made a number of excellent saves to keep his team ahead.
It was a magnificent team performance by Mazarron with every player worthy of mention. Basi, understandably, won the Man of the Match award. although all the team could have shared it.
CAP Ciudad de Murcia inflicted the first defeat of the season on Nuestro Abaran and moved up to second place, one point behind Mazarron. Next weekend Mazarron travel to UD Abanilla.
Team: Dani Caro; Raul Torrano; Raso; Adrian Campoy; Gato; Andreo; Alfonso Canovas; Dani Morales (Pedro); Javi Torrano (Fran Costa); Basi (Miguel); Monjas Lopez (Jose Antonio).
Man of the Match: Basi.
