NEXT AWAY GAME
PREFERENTE AUTONOMICA UNICO - game 6
Scheduled for Sunday 08/10/2017
To be played at the CAMPO DE FUTBOL "EL BATALAX"
U.D. ABANILLA v MAZARRON F.C.
From playing the bottom side in our league last weekend we now move onto the next to bottom side for our next game which is an away fixture.
WHAT HAPPENED LAST WEEKEND
Mazarrón FC were at home to Alquerias and that game ran out as a dramatic 6-3 win for Mazarrón despite playing most of the game with 9 men following Andreo and Alfonso being sent off for fighting, what is it with Mazarrón and fighting? Last weekend it was Boudia now these two. Anyway Basi scored 4 to ensure that Mazarrón stay on top of the league and with teams around them either drawing or losing it was all in all a good weekend for the boys in red.
Meanwhile Abanilla were on their travels to face Bullense and returned home empty handed after losing 2-0 and were reduced to ten men during the game.
ABOUT ABANILLA
UD Abanilla play their games at the EL BATALAX stadium which is some 80KM and 55 minutes traveling time from Camposol and for independent supporters the grounds coordinates are 38° 12' 11" N, 01° 02' 48" W Just put these into google or Apple maps to find its location.
The stadium is situated to the north of Murcia city and is on the western side of the village of Abanilla. I must confess that I have never been to this stadium but from images on the internet it appears to be part of a sporting complex with an artificial playing surface. There appears to be the usual canteen facilities and as it is a modern setup you would imagine that the toilet facilities would be of an expected standard.
Abanilla played in our league last year and finished in a mid table 12th place. Mazarrón did ‘the double’ over them during that season winning 3-0 at home and 1-2 away and whilst our boys have started well this year Abanilla are struggling near to the bottom of the table.
Abanilla play in a red shirt so expect Mazarrón to be displaying their new white away strip.
CURRENT STATS
1st MAZARRÓN FC P 5 W 4 D 1 L 0 GF 15 GA 5 Points 13
17th UD ABANILLA P 5 W 1 D 0 L 4 GF 7 GA 11 Points 3
SANCTIONS AND SUSPENSIONS
Albanilla will be missing ever present defender Adrian Ruiz Rocamora Who was dismissed last weekend following two visits to the referees book.
Mazarrón meanwhile welcome the returning Boudia following his one match suspension for fighting, but Andreo and Alfonso will be sidelined for ...... weeks.
Other suspensions and sanctions will be posted on Thursday, including our naughty boys, when they are published by the federation.
Details of the Los Amigos away supporters coach will be posted when available.
