NEXT HOME GAME
PREFERENTE AUTONOMICA UNICO - game 11 Scheduled for Sunday 12/11/2017
To be played at the ESTADIO MUNICIPAL DE MAZARRON
MAZARRON F.C. v C.F. MOLINA
With three points under their belts from last weekends game Mazarrón FC return home to face a side with whom they have had plenty of dealings with over recent seasons in the shape of CF Molina.
LAST WEEKEND
Mazarrón FC were on their travels and faced Alcantarilla with the game being decided early in the first half by a well taken penalty which was put away by the leagues top scorer, Basi.
This well deserved win consolidates Mazarrón in 4th place in the league just two points behind top of the table Abaran and just a point of the second automatic promotion place.
Molina were at home to Bullense with the visitors losing their keeper to a straight red card in the sixth minute and were further reduced to 9 men with 30 minutes to go but despite having home advantage and playing against 9 men Molina struggled to a 3-3 draw.
CURRENT STATS
4th Mazarrón FC P 10 W 6 D 3 L 1 GF 24 GA 16 Points 21
11th Molina CF P 10 W 3 D 3 L 4 GF 10 GA 11 Points 12
So Mazarrón have scored over twice the amount of goals that our opponent have but we have conceded more, thank CD Algar for that.
SANCTIONS AND SUSPENSIONS
The yellow cards are mounting as the season progresses with Mazarrón picking up another 4 last weekend but we were surpassed by Molina who received 8

Molina will have a player missing with 5 yellows:
Javier MARTINEZ SANCHEZ
He's their top scorer! But only has 4 goals to his name.
We will be without Raul Torrano with him having 5 yellows too.

Abanilla do us a favour today by beating Abaran 2-1. A win for Mazarrón would move us above them now.

Alhama, the team above Mazarrón, could only draw today against Cartagena so three points against Molina will move us above them. COYR

Mazarron FC move up into second place in the league after a 4-2 home victory over CF Molina.
Juvenile player Jaime, making his first start for Mazarron, gave them the lead on 13 minutes with a firm strike from the edge of the penalty area. Mazarron had a number of chances to increase their lead in the first half but were pegged back after 42 minutes with a controversial goal. Pablo made a superb save turning the ball onto the cross bar and although the defence completed the clearance the linesman, who was not up with play, flagged to say that the ball had crossed the line.
Pablo and captain Juan Andreo led the vociferous Mazarron protests but only received yellow cards for their troubles.
To make matters worse Molina took the lead two minutes into the second half when a cross from the right was backheeled into the net. Mazarron were stunned but soon rallied and their misfortune seemed to inspire them as they put the Molina defence under constant pressure. Boudia's poweful header seemed to have crossed the line but the linesman who had given Molina their goal before half time kept his flag down on this occasion.
Mazarron's hard worked paid off after 57 minutes when, following a corner, Jaime found centre half Nacho who blasted the ball home from 10 yards, Then on 71 minutes excellent work by Dani Morales on the right saw him cross to Basi and the league's leading scorer made no mistake, Three minutes later Basi scored his fourteenth of the season and Mazarron's fourth of the game after an excellent through ball from Javi Torrano.
With Abaran losing at Albanilla and Alhama being held to a 1-1 draw at bottom of the table Cartagena FC UCAM, Mazarron are now second just one point behind the new leaders CAP Ciudad de Murcia.
Team: Pablo; Raso; Juan Andreo; Nacho; Gato; Boudia; Dani Morales (Steven); Alfonso Canovas; Basi; Javi Torrano; Jaime.
Man of the Match: Basi

The viddy printer is playing up. I was mistaken before but I am sure this week the viddy printer is wrong . It should have been 4 -1 but thanks to the Russian linesman it was in fact 4-2.
