With everyone having missed out on the last game before Christmas, I don't know if there will be fancy dress!
Usually it's Santa hats, jumpers and anything else that might be deemed 'seasonal'.
The Spanish, of course, have a big fiesta on 6th January. 'Fiesta de Los tres Reyes Mages'. So you could try dressing up as a Magic King!

WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO........
Large Spanish flags.
On my return to Mazarrón I made my way passed the so call sports complex, know as the plastic pitches.
Previous in the center of traffic roundabout outside the complex was HUGE Spanish flag on top of a HUGE flag pole.
Well today the HUGE flagpole was there but at the top was, all that I could describe as, one of those little flags usual handed out to kindergarten children when a local dignitary visit to pat the children on their heads.
Times must be hard at the council or else they are running out of material at the flag makers. 🤔🇪🇸
Go have a look.

It shrunk in the wash a bit like Raso's kit after a couple of weeks on the Grant Holt diet .
I could get a very large Royal Ensign with Norwich City emblazoned on it if that would look better on the flag pole?

Or a red flag with a ‘tricky tree’ on it.
By the way, merry Christmas to all my readers, humbug.

Basi, Mazarrón FC and the leagues top marksman, has apparently left the club.
Has anyone any idea why?
Not the best way to start the new year.

Basi has apparently signed, or will be signing, for UD Los Garres in the Tercera Division. As the leading scorer in the Preferente he was always going to attract attention from other clubs but it is a pity that he could not see his way to stay and help Mazarron in their attempts to move into the higher division.

MAZARRÓN FC JUMP ON THE ‘CLUB DAY’ RIP OFF BAND WAGON
Sunday’s game has been designated as a ‘club day’ therefore season ticket holder will be charged €3 and the gate price goes up from €4 to €5.
What a kick in the face for loyal regular supporters who travel to both home and away games supporting the team.
A season ticket is what it says on it a ‘season ticket’ that’s why you buy it so that it’s valid for the ‘season’ I didn’t see where it says except club days. Club days are never mentioned but sprung on supporters at the last minute.
I wish the team the best of luck on Sunday but I’m sorry but there will be two supporters not attending on Sunday from my household.
We have supported this team through thick and thin piling a lot of Euros into their coffers and this is how they treat us, sorry Mazarrón but in my opinion your bang out of order.
It’s not about the cash, it’s about the principle.
Rethink this decision now!

Now formally registered for Los Garres according to the Federation.

Seven minutes gone and Mazarrón take a 1-0 win. Blow the whistle ref
35 minutes and Murcia equalised.
And that’s the half time score 1-1
They’re out for the second half
The game is turned onto its head as Murcia take the lead 1-2
Bad to worse, make that 1-3
And that’s the final score 1-3 😟
