RELEGATION FROM THE PRIMERA AUTONOMICA
I recently posed the question regarding the position of the sides being relegated from our league and if Sporting Mazarron could be relegated, well Les has done some research and as usual with the Spanish federation it is as clear as mud, but see what you think.
WHO WILL BE RELEGATED?
Well now....an interesting question which you won't find an official answer to on the Fed. site!
The rules for relegation from the Primera (our) league have been copied from the rules for the Preferente (one above) without being edited! So they talk about being relegated FROM the Primera TO the Primera!
The rules for the Segunda have never been updated since last year so talk about the top THREE teams being promoted (no play-offs)!
Are you still with me? And not drifting off to zzzz land!
I can only assume that they intend the same principles to apply as at the top of our league - 3-up-3-down (with playoffs for the third promotion). So the Sporting Mazarron would be safe.
But...........who really knows?
The next question is will Sporting sign up for next season?

NEWS FROM THE GROUND
THE MANAGER
Sadly unless Javi obtains a coaches licence, level 2, over the summer, a course which will cost him €1000, he will be unable to be our manager next season. His current licence only covers up to our present league level.
Jose is already looking for a replacement for next season just in case Javi doesn't obtain the correct coaching badge.
But Javi will not be lost to Mazarron FC if he doesn't as he has indicated that he would like to take up a role coaching one of our youth teams, he came to us from our cadete side, so a win win situation.
Make sure that you give him a fond farewell on Sunday.
THE TEAM
Negotiations are already underway regarding next seasons squad with the vast majority of the current team stating their desire to remain with Mazarron, including Tolo who is very happy with the current set up.
We have a number of excellent juveniles who will be moving up to senior level now that their season has ended and Jose also has his eye on a few more Mazarron based players currently playing for other local sides.
