Mazarron FC have today signed a Ukrainian defender Bohdan Mazur, known as Mazur, from the segunda autonomica side A. D. VISTALEGRE-LA FLOTA.
He is a defender, has started 12 games this season and has scored one goal.
He will be a direct replacement for Juanfran who's season has been curtailed due to injury.
This is a big step up for Mazur, two divisions, but Mazarron need numbers as the play offs approach.

NEWS FROM THE GROUND
Team news for Saturday's game against La Hoya
*Number 9 Jose has still not recovered from his hamstring injury and will be missing. *Juanlu has recovered from injury, he is training and will be available on Saturday. *Palote has undergone 'electrical treatment?' Which has been successful and is OK for this weekends game. *Right back Juanfran is in training and could start at La Hoya. *Alberto has a new job at the Repsol plant in Cartagena and only gets one day a week off, Jose is hoping that it's Saturday but doesn't know if Alberto can make it for the game. *Due to work commitments Gilberto has had to leave the squad and will not be reappearing this season.
Jose thinks that we have no suspensions for the La Hoya game.
PROMOTION
The situation with the promotion from our division to the Tercera, the division above us, is as clear as mud. The Tercera is expanding from 18 to 20 teams and taking into consideration teams from that division being promoted to Division 2B, which could be well be a couple the top 6 teams in our division could be promoted.
But remember that 'extra' promotions are based on league position at the end of the season and NOT play-off success! So every point is valuable
Jose thinks that at least 5 teams could gain promotion as a minimum. Here's hoping that he's right. Lorca and Aguilas are strong contenders for promotion to division 2B which is decided though a national playoff system.
GROUND IMPROVEMENTS
Jose is booked in to see the mayor regarding the cash given to the club and and ground improvements during the close season and he sees no problems there.
FINAL GAME
Jose is also off to see the federation about one or two things including the final game of the season against Juvenia. It appears that the federation wants all the final games of the season to kickoff at the same time on the same day so no one has an unfair advantage.

Despite not yet kicking a ball today and despite La Hoya beating Alquerias 0-3 away in the early kickoff this morning Sangonera have won our league even though at the moment the points total are the same as La Hoya.
This season when playing each other both Sangonera and La Hoya have won their home matches, Sangonera 3-1 and La Hoya 2-1 so head to head they are equal but Sangonera have scored that extra goal.
Sangonera are away at CD Algar today (22/5/16) to play their final game and kickoff at the same time as all the teams contending for the three remaining playoff places do, 6pm (18.00)
What frame of mind will they be in? Will they do Mazarron a favour and at least draw giving us a chance? They beat CD Algar 2-0 at home earlier in the season, same again please.
But having said that Mazarron must do the business against Juvenia.
Squeky bum time.
