WHO’LL BE NEXT IN THE FOREST HOT SEAT?
Aitor Karanka is on the brink at Nottingham Forest after the chaotic 3-3 draw with Norwich.
Karanka’s reign as Forest manager is precarious after less than 12 months in charge with owner Evangelos Marinakis considering taking action for the club’s failure to reach the top six.
Telegraph Sport understands Karanka was under strict instructions to secure a place in the play-offs by January 1, following a significant transfer spend in the summer.
But Forest are tenth in the Championship after throwing away a 3-0 lead at automatic promotion contenders Norwich.
It is believed Karanka’s position is being discussed by the Forest board and he may get the game at Millwall on Saturday, but the Spaniard is unquestionably facing the end of his tenure.

WHO???
Nottingham Forest are reportedly considering a move to appoint Damir Canadi as their next manager.
Reds boss Aitor Karanka is under intense pressure heading into the visit of Leeds United after a five match winless run left them six points adrift of the play-offs.
Canadi is currently in charge of Atromitos Athens, guiding them to third place in the Greek Super League.

EX RAMS BOSS FOR THE (LAMB) CHOP
Gary Rowett is facing the sack at Stoke City with David Moyes and Sam Allardyce in the running to succeed him.
The Coates family’s patience with Rowett is rapidly running out because of a dismal festive period, which saw them lose to Birmingham and Bristol City and draw with struggling Bolton.
Rowett was hired in May to lead Stoke straight back up into the Premier League and instead they are languishing 14th, eight points outside the play-off places.

"Forest, who are away at Reading on Saturday, are now looking for their 11th full-time manager since June 2011."
Suggests it's not the managers that are the problem!

The problem was the previous not current owners who hired and fired on a whim.
The new Greek owners have the cash and the ambition to get promoted but didn’t, in the end, get on with the previous manager and the link to Jose and possibly Real Madrid would have been a big factor.
The new guy, who ever that is, will have cash to spend in the January window and a first team squad just four points and one place from the playoffs so Forest are an attractive proposition for the right person.
Stoke are also looking for a new manager which muddies waters a bit but it looks like the ex Fulham guy is in pole position, if he wants it, only time will tell.
