THE ORIENT EXPRESS 🚂 TO THE DOLE OFFICE
Leyton Orient have appointed Danny Webb as manager following Andy Edwards' decision to take up a youth coaching job with the Football Association.
The much-travelled lower league defender, 33, the son of Chelsea legend David Webb, has been placed in charge until the end of the season.
He becomes the 10th man to take charge of the East London-based League Two club since the summer of 2014.
The struggling O's are at risk of relegation from the Football League.

FOREST BOUND??
Rangers have replaced Mark Warburton as manager with under-20 coach Graeme Murty ahead of Sunday's Scottish Cup tie with Greenock Morton.
The Scottish Premiership club say they have accepted the resignations of Warburton, assistant David Weir and head of recruitment, Frank McParland.
But Warburton, who took charge in 2015, told BBC Scotland he has not stood down and was unaware of the statement.
And the 54-year-old Englishman is consulting his legal team.
The BBC has learned that Warburton had contact with Nottingham Forest around 10 days ago and was high on the English Championship club's list of possible managers.

I wish we could have Warburton back at Brentford.
Why have they extended Dean Smith's contract for heavens sake? A win-rate of 37% says he's not the man for the job.
Warburton got 51%, not to mention his 65% at Rangers.

BANG! AND ANOTHER ONE GOES
Blackburn Rovers manager Owen Coyle has left the Championship side by mutual consent after eight months in charge.
The 50-year-old took over at Rovers in June 2016, but won just 11 of 37 games. Blackburn are 23rd in the table, three points from safety, in a season which has also been marred by fan protests against the club's owners, Venky's.
"The decision has been taken to give the club the best possible chance of climbing to a position of safety in the Championship," said a club statement.

THAT DIDN'T TAKE LONG
Championship strugglers Blackburn Rovers have appointed Tony Mowbray as their new head coach, a day after Owen Coyle left the club by mutual consent.
The 53-year-old was last in charge of League One side Coventry and has previously been boss of Middlesbrough, Celtic, West Brom and Hibernian.
He takes over a Rovers side 23rd in the table, three points from safety with 15 games remaining this season.
Mowbray's first match in charge will be at Burton Albion on Friday.

I was at McDonald's of course😂
CANNOT STOP LAUGHING 😀😂😬😎
After all the bragging that went on last season comparing last seasons one hit wonders with the great Nottingham Forest teams under Clough the chickens have come home to roost. DILLY DING, DILLY DONG, THE USELESS ITALIAN HAS GONE🦊
Now who are the 'kings of the East Midlands???
Reigning Premier League champions Leicester City have sacked manager Claudio Ranieri.
The Foxes, skippered by former Nottingham Forest defender Wes Morgan, axed the Italian following Wednesday night's 2-1 defeat to Seville in the Champions League.
After winning the title last season, Leicester have struggled in the top-flight this term and sit one point above the relegation zone.
WATCH THIS SPACE
Who will replace him? I reckon the guy who's team Ranieri took over and won the league with. Nigel Pearson created that team and he should have been the one to have got all the praise for what they did last season.
It has been reported that some of the City players would like to see a return for former boss Nigel Pearson, who was linked with the Forest job when Philippe Montanier departed.

WARBURTON TO FOREST UPDATE
Nottingham Forest's new director of football Frank McParland was at the City Ground as the Reds took on and beat Brighton 3-0
McParland has joined Forest on a temporary deal until the end of the season, with a view to staying permanently.
He could be reunited with Mark Warburton at the City Ground in the summer, with the Reds set to target the former Brentford and Rangers boss to be their new manager – McParland and Warburton working together at Griffin Park and Ibrox.

WILL THIS NEVER END?
Russell Slade has been sacked as manager of Coventry City, who are bottom of the League One table.
The 56-year-old only won three of his 16 games in charge of the Sky Blues following his appointment on 21 December.
Coventry are 13 points adrift of safety in the third tier following Saturday's 0-0 draw at Shrewsbury.
However, the club have reached the final of the EFL Trophy where they will play Oxford at Wembley on 2 April.
Coventry picked up seven points from a possible 39 on offer in the league after former Leyton Orient, Cardiff and Charlton boss Slade took charge.
