"Brendan Rodgers is reportedly in line for a stunning return to Swansea City this summer - but wants assurances over his transfer kitty before agreeing to take on the job he left in 2012.
Rodgers has revealed that Huw Jenkins approached him earlier this season in an attempt to lure him back." (Daily Mirror online 20/4/2016.)

JUST HAD TO HAPPEN
Jose Riga has resigned as head coach of relegated Championship side Charlton following their 3-0 defeat by Burnley.
Riga, 58, returned for his second spell at The Valley in January on an 18-month deal after the sacking of Karel Fraeye.
But the Addicks won only five of their 19 games under the Belgian, and they were relegated to League One in April.

BYE BYE ROBERTO
Everton have sacked manager Roberto Martinez after three years in charge.
Martinez's side, 12th in the Premier League, were beaten 3-1 by champions Leicester on Saturday and lost 3-0 at Sunderland on Wednesday.
The Toffees lost in the semi-finals of the FA Cup and League Cup this season.
They have won just five league games at home all season and are guaranteed to finish with their lowest points tally at Goodison Park since the introduction of three points for a win in 1981.
The club are expected to make an official announcement imminently to confirm their decision.
An ode to Roberto:-
The young manager of Everton,
At first he was loved by everyone,
But it drove fans round the bend,
When his team couldn't defend,
Will De Boer be next at Everton?

LOYALTY WHAT LOYALTY?
Paul took over as manager with Forest heading for division one, steadied the ship, turns the results around and the side finish well clear (15 points) of the drop. And what do you get for all of your hard work and loyalty to the club, yep, the sack. Shame on you Forest, there should have been a place on the coaching staff for this loyal servant, and this is from a die hard Forest fan.
Paul Williams has left his role as temporary manager and left Championship side Nottingham Forest.
Williams was a first-team coach at Forest but replaced Dougie Freedman as boss when the Scot was sacked in March.
The 45-year-old was out of contract this summer and BBC Radio Nottingham understands he has failed to agree terms on a return to a coaching job. Williams, who won two of his 10 games said: "Although we struggled with results, performances were strong."
