NEW OWNERS = SACK THE MANAGERChampionship strugglers Bolton Wanderers have parted company with manager Neil Lennon by mutual consent. The 44-year-old former Celtic manager was appointed in October 2014 and leaves with the club 11 points from safety at the foot of the table with nine games left to play. Lennon's departure comes five days after the Sports Shield consortium completed their takeover of Wanderers. Academy boss Jimmy Phillips will take over the first team as interim manager. "All at Bolton Wanderers would like to thank Neil for his contributions during his time at the club," a statement on the club's website read. Don't worry Neil, there's a job going at Forest

A CLUB IN CRISIS
Jamie Fullarton has been sacked by League Two side Notts County after just 70 days as manager at Meadow Lane.
The 41-year-old's 12-game spell in charge was brought to an end following Saturday's 4-1 home loss to Exeter, which left Notts 19th in the table.
Notts have taken just one point from a possible 15 at home and won three games since Fullarton replaced Ricardo Moniz.
The Magpies, who are up for sale, are expected to appoint a successor as early as Sunday.
Fullarton's departure comes a day after Notts County owner Ray Trew agreed a deal to sell the club to an American company.
The former Bolton Under-21 coach's departure from his first managerial job came just hours after fans held protests calling for his sacking.
Since Fullarton took charge, Trew has stepped down as chairman and put the club on the market, while chief executive Julian Winter resigned earlier this month.
"While it is well known that my position at the club has changed in recent weeks, I still have a responsibility to do what I feel is best for Notts County and that means acting when things aren't going right on the pitch," Trew told the club website.
"I have to thank Jamie for his efforts over the past few weeks because he has had to face an incredibly difficult atmosphere, somewhat unfairly I feel.
"He has maintained an exceptional level of professionalism throughout and should be applauded for how he has conducted himself."
The Magpies, relegated from League One last season, have failed to win at Meadow Lane in seven games, dating back to their 4-3 triumph over Newport County on 12 December.

NOW THAT DIDN'T TAKE LONG DID IT?
Notts County have named former Swindon boss Mark Cooper as Jamie Fullarton's successor as manager at Meadow Lane.
Cooper, 47, takes over at the League Two club on an incentive-based deal, initially until the end of the season.
He has been out of work since leaving League One side Swindon in October, just five months after they lost the play-off final at Wembley

ADD ANOTHER TO THE LIST, BUT THIS TIME IN NOT OUT
Scunthorpe United have appointed former Fleetwood boss Graham Alexander as their new manager.
The 44-year-old started his playing career with the Iron and has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the League One club.
Nick Daws, who had previously been placed in charge until the end of the season, will be Alexander's assistant.
His first game in charge of the 13th placed side will be Good Friday's trip to Barnsley

MAYBE HE DIDN'T FANCY LIFE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP
Manager Remi Garde has left Aston Villa by mutual consent after four months at the Premier League's bottom club.
The 49-year-old Frenchman replaced Tim Sherwood on a three-and-a-half-year deal in November, but departs after six successive defeats.

THIS MUST BE A JOKE
Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reports that Louis van Gaal will remain as Manchester United boss next season - and will be given £80m to spend in the summer, most of it to be used on a striker.
How does a third season of the Dutchman sound for united fans?
In contrast a guy who knows when his time is up
Lincoln City manager Chris Moyses is to leave his post at the National League club at the end of the season.
Moyses, 50, a former Imps player and director, initially took charge on a caretaker basis following the departure of Gary Simpson in November 2014.
"Managing a football club as well as running my own business has led to me working over 80 hours a week and that is simply not sustainable," he said.
Lincoln are 12th in the National League table, having taken two points from a possible 18 since 12 March.

ABOUT TO JUMP SHIP, AND CAN YOU BLAME HIM?
Blackburn Rovers manager Paul Lambert says he will "wait and see" before deciding on his future with the club.
The 46-year-old Scot was appointed in November, but the team have won just 10 of his 27 games in charge.
"What happens in the next few weeks will happen. I can't keep being a spokesman for the football club, I'm the manager.
"I went through the same stuff at Aston Villa and I'll never go through that again,"

CHANGE OF MANAGER AT THE 'O's' WELL SORT OF.
Leyton Orient have removed player-manager Kevin Nolan from his managerial role, placing Andy Hessenthaler in charge of the first team.
Nolan, 33, has won seven of his 15 games since joining the O's in January. Orient have taken one point from their last four games but remain two points off the League Two play-off places.
"We believe Kevin will be able to make a bigger impact without the distraction of managerial duties," Orient chief executive Alessandro Angelieri said.
Nolan became the youngest manager in the Football League when he signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the east London club, who were relegated from League One last season.
Former Dover and Gillingham boss Hessenthaler, 50, becomes the seventh different man to take charge of the side since Italian businessman Francesco Becchetti bought the O's in the summer of 2014.
Earlier on Tuesday, BBC Radio Manchester reported Nolan is being considered for a management or coaching role at his former club Bolton Wanderers.

GOING, GOING............
Charlton head coach Jose Riga will hold talks with owner Roland Duchatelet about his future after the club were relegated from the Championship.
The Addicks were consigned to the drop by Tuesday's 0-0 draw at Bolton. Asked if he would remain at The Valley, Riga told BBC Radio London: "It will be the content of the next meeting.
"It depends on the context, how they react to things and how they want to do things in the future. That is the most important thing for me."
Belgian Riga returned to Charlton for his second spell in charge of the club in mid-January on an 18-month deal.

AN HONEST MANAGER TELLS THE TRUTH ABOUT HIS PLAYERS
Notts County manager Mark Cooper told his players that they will not cost him his job after slumping to a 3-1 defeat at Barnet on Tuesday.
Defeat came three days after they suffered a record 5-0 Nottinghamshire derby loss at Mansfield Town.
Cooper is in charge until the end of the season and has been set a points target to earn an extended contract.
"I said to them 'you have got two managers the sack already and you are not getting me out'," Cooper said.
After losing his first game in charge 4-0 at Portsmouth, Cooper's Notts took eight points from a possible 12 before their defeat at Mansfield.
Asked by BBC Radio Nottingham if he saw defeat coming at 1-0 up, the former Swindon boss said: "I did because I know what is in the changing room. "What you know is with the group of players that we have got, if any real pressure comes they will cave in."
Barnet manager and former Notts boss Martin Allen said it was a "comfortable win" against a side that "offered nothing" in the second half.
"They turned their back on their club," Allen said of the Magpies players. "They let their supporters, their manager and everyone down from the way they played.
"I have interest in that club as I worked there, I have fond memories of my time there, and whoever brought those players in needs to take a long, hard look at themselves."
Notts, relegated from League One last season, are 17th in the League Two table after 43 games.

Any good managers looking for a job as Celtic are looking for one at the end of the season,as I asked in an earlier post does anyone know what Brendan Rogers Is doing at present as I thought he did a good job at Swansea and Liverpool.
A few names have been mentioned David moves, Neil Lennon,Roy Keane, malky McKay and Northern Ireland manager Michael o Neil don't want Lennon back as he left and thought he would get a job in premier league and ended up at Bolton were he got sacked.
