GAINED PROMOTION THEN EASED OUT
Lee Bowyer has left Charlton after leading the Addicks to promotion to the Championship.
Former Leeds midfielder Bowyer has failed to reach an agreement to remain at The Valley - with Charlton claiming he has rejected an offer of three times his current wage.
The club say the offer of a one-year contract on six times the money he earned when he joined the club as assistant manager in 2017 has been rebuffed.

😱 SHOCK, HORROR 😱 WHO SAW THIS ONE COMING?
Maurizio Sarri has left Chelsea to become manager of Serie A champions Juventus on a three-year deal.
Sarri, who joined the Blues from Napoli in July 2018, led them to third in the Premier League and won the Europa League in his one season in charge.
It is understood a compensation fee in excess of £5m has been agreed between the two clubs for the 60-year-old.
Sarri will replace fellow Italian Massimiliano Allegri, who left Juventus at the end of last season.
"In talks we had following the Europa League final, Maurizio made it clear how strongly he desired to return to his native country, explaining that his reasons for wanting to return to work in Italy were significant," said Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia.
FRANK LAMPARD, COME ON DOWN.

BAGGIES GET HAMMERS REJECT AS NEW BOSS
Slaven Bilic has been named as the new manager of West Brom, the Championship club have announced.
The Baggies turned to former West Ham boss Bilic to replace Darren Moore, who was sacked in March.
The 50-year-old has agreed a two-year contract with Albion, who reached the Championship play-off semi-finals last season.
Bilic, who has also managed his national side Croatia, lost his job at West Ham in November 2017 after two and a half years in charge.
He guided the Hammers to seventh in his first season but left with them struggling in the relegation zone and was replaced by David Moyes.

JUST WHEN YOU THINK THAT IT CAN’T GET ANY WORSE, IT DOES.
Bolton Wanderers confirm they have just six senior players on their books Ken Anderson has well and truly run Bolton Wanderers into the ground.
The former chairman's disgraceful stewardship of the club saw players unpaid and a spiralling club debt of over £40million.
In May it was reported that emergency food banks had been set up to help staff who had not been given their wages for the previous months.
The Trotters will begin next season in League One with a 12-point deduction for going into administration.
After the failure of Laurence Bassini's takeover, there is no sign of things getting any easier either.
The club have released a list of players currently under contract. It includes just 14 players in total and only six of them are senior squad members. The rest are youth team prospects who have played just a handful of games.
Perhaps even more alarmingly, two of the six seniors, Ben Alnwick and Remi Matthews, are both goalkeepers.
That means Jason Lowe, Luke Murphy, Erhun Oztumer and Josh Magennis are the only outfield players available.
Due to Bolton's financial predicament, all players who were out of contract at the end of last season left.
Several others voluntarily terminated their contracts, which they were entitled to do so because of the length of time for which they had not been paid.

The long awaited development of the sports complex between Mazarrón and the port of Mazarrón took a step forward yesterday with the announcement of the construction of the swimming pool which was promised years ago.
The work commences this month and it due to be completed by February 2020, Spanish time, and at a cost of just over €1.3 million.
Will the new football stadium promised at the same time to be used by both Mazarrón FC and Bala Azul all those years ago be next on the list🤔

New manager incoming
Middlesbrough are close to announcing Jonathan Woodgate as their new manager.
The former Boro and England defender has been among the bookmakers’ favourites to succeed Tony Pulis, under whom he worked as first-team coach last season, since the Welshman’s departure at the end of the campaign.
It’s understood that chairman Steve Gibson is ready to appoint the 39-year-old, and the club is currently engaged in the process of putting together his coaching staff.
Woodgate made a total of 112 appearances for his home-town club in two spells and ended his playing career there in 2016.
