AND THE FIRST CASUALTY IS
Former Premier League goalkeeper Brad Friedel has been sacked from his managerial position at struggling MLS side New England Revolution.
The club are currently bottom of the Eastern Conference after two wins and eight defeats from 12 games.
Friedel, 47, said he wanted to find the "antidote" after Wednesday's 5-0 defeat by Chicago Fire.
Assistant and former United States and Southend United defender Mike Lapper takes over as interim coach.
Former United States international Friedel played for Liverpool, Blackburn, Aston Villa and Tottenham during an 18-year period in English football.

DAVID’S BACK IN A HOT SEAT
Ex-Huddersfield boss David Wagner has been appointed manager of German club Schalke from the start of next season.
Wagner, 47, took a break from the game after he left the Terriers by mutual consent on 14 January this year.
The German joins Schalke on a three-year deal and replaces interim boss Huub Stevens who took over when Domenico Tedesco was sacked in March.
Wagner played 36 times for Schalke in a two-year spell as a player between 1995 and 1997.
He left Huddersfield by mutual consent in January with the Terriers bottom of the Premier League after taking 11 points in their first 22 games of the season

COMING THICK AND FAST THIS MORNING
Former Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri is set to leave AS Roma at the end of this season.
The Italian boss, who famously won the Premier League title with City, took over at hometown club Roma in March, after being sacked by Fulham.
He has managed to revive Roma's season during his second stint in charge of the club, though they are still in danger of missing out on Champions League qualification.
Italy's biggest capital club are three points off fourth place with just three games remaining in Serie A - they will have to settle for the Europa League if they fail close that gap.
And whether they make the cut for the top four or not, they will be looking for a new manager this summer.

Former Wales manager Chris Coleman has been sacked by Hebei China Fortune, the club he took over 11 months ago.
Hebei are one place off the bottom of the Chinese Super League with only one win in nine games this season.
As they lost 3-2 at home to mid-table Henan Jianye on Saturday, disaffected fans held up a banner which read: "Hello Mr. Coleman, please go home! You're fired!!!" and in Chinese said: "Coleman, your mum wants you home for dinner."
Coleman led Wales to the Euro 2016 semi-finals, but opted not to continue as Wales manager, joining Sunderland where he was unable to save them from relegation to League One.
After being sacked by the Black Cats, he took over from current West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini at Hebei.
