WHILST AT THE OTHER MAGPIES
Rafael Benitez is set to remain as Newcastle United manager and honour his three-year contract following their relegation from the Premier League.
The 56-year-old Spaniard was appointed in March following Steve McClaren's sacking but failed to keep the Magpies in the top flight.
He had a break clause in his contract if Newcastle were relegated and was widely expected to leave the club.

Hi gents I am very happy with our appointment of Brendan Rodgers as the new Celtic manager I like the way his previous pubs played possession and attacking football.

ROYALS SAY GOODBYE TO BRIAN, AGAIN
Championship side Reading have sacked manager Brian McDermott after just over six months in charge.
The 55-year-old returned to the Madejski Stadium in December for his second spell as boss of the Royals.
But McDermott only won nine of his 30 games in charge and the Berkshire side finished 17th in the table.
A club statement said it had been a "difficult decision" for the board of directors to relieve McDermott of his duties.
One name being linked to the now vacant managerial position at Reading is former Manchester United defender Jaap Stam.

ANOTHER LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER
Derby County have appointed former Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson as their manager on a three-year contract. Pearson, 52, has been out of work since being sacked by Leicester City in June 2015, having taken the Foxes to Premier League safety.
Darren Wassall, who guided the Rams to fifth in the Championship before their play-off semi-final loss to Hull, will return to his role as academy director.
*Thanks Darren for getting us into the playoffs, now clear off to the academy*

THE MAD ITIALIAN STRIKES AGAIN
Leeds United have sacked head coach Steve Evans after seven months in charge of the Championship club.
The 53-year-old said on Saturday he was keen to remain in the role after Leeds had made a formal approach for Bristol Rovers manager Darrell Clarke.
Evans was appointed following Uwe Rosler's sacking last October and led the club to 13th in the Championship.
"Steve completed the job he was brought in to carry out," chairman Massimo Cellino told the club's website.
"We have, however, decided that a different approach is required in order to achieve our targets for the new season.
"The club is now looking to appoint a new head coach to build on the good work of Steve and Paul [Raynor, assistant head coach] and deliver the special season which our supporters deserve."
Paul Raynor, who had been Evans' assistant at Boston, Crawley and Rotherham, has also left Elland Road.
The search for number seven is under way
Since Leeds' approach last Tuesday, former Salisbury boss Clarke has agreed a new deal with Bristol Rovers that makes him the highest-paid manager in their history.
Rovers said the Whites had "failed to meet conditions" set by the League One-bound club, who have secured successive promotions under 38-year-old Clarke.
Leeds had already attempted to bring in MK Dons manager Karl Robinson, but he turned down the offer.
Evans, who took over just 12 games into the season and with Leeds 18th in the table, became the club's sixth different head coach since Cellino took over in April 2014.
The Scot had left Rotherham the previous September having led them to two promotions in his three full seasons in charge

ROBERTO WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? ARE YOU CRAZY?
New Aston Villa manager Roberto di Matteo says "it's a wonderful honour" to take charge at Villa Park.
The crisis relegated Premier League club officially announced his appointment on Friday.
Di Matteo succeeds Frenchman Remi Garde, who was sacked in March.
The 46-year-old Italian, who won the Champions League and FA Cup with Chelsea in 2012, has also managed West Brom, Schalke and MK Dons.
"I'm looking forward to the challenge of taking Aston Villa back to its rightful place," said Di Matteo.
Villa's statement did not mention former Reading and West Brom boss Steve Clarke, who is expected to be Di Matteo's assistant

HE LASTED JUST 28 DAYS
Russell Slade has left his role as Cardiff City's head of football after only 28 days in the job.
The former Bluebirds manager was moved to a new role at the end of the 2015-16 season and was replaced by Paul Trollope.
Slade was appointed Cardiff boss in October 2014 in succession to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Cardiff finished 11th and eighth in the Championship under Slade, with several players departing.

CARETAKER TO CONTINUE TAKING CARE
Leyton Orient have appointed Andy Hessenthaler as their full-time manager on a one-year contract after his stint in charge as caretaker boss.
He led the team for the final five games of the season as the O's finished eighth, after being assistant to both Ian Hendon and Kevin Nolan.
The 50-year-old former Gillingham and Dover boss won three and lost two during his spell in temporary charge.
A statement said his "expertise, spirit and passion" secured him the role.
Hessenthaler is the seventh different man to take charge of the side since Italian businessman Francesco Becchetti bought the O's in the summer of 2014
