NEXT UP IS A POSSIBLE MOVE FOR SHTEVE McCLAREN (no not a typo error)
McClaren's Derby future in doubt
Derby County head coach Steve McClaren will meet the club's chief executive Sam Rush this morning report BBC Radio Derby.
There are reports in today's papers suggesting McClaren could leave the club in the next 48 hours.
The talks follow last week's board meeting in New York, where McClaren's commitment to the club was discussed.
I say sack him and his umberella but maybe I'm bias.

BYE BYE SAM
Sam Allardyce has revealed he planned to leave West Ham United even if the club had offered to renew his contract.
Allardyce's departure was announced within minutes of the end of West Ham's 2-0 loss at Newcastle United that saw The Magpies stay in the Premier League.
The 60-year-old has spent four years at West Ham, but the Hammers have decided not to renew his deal this summer.
Allardyce said: "I didn't want to stay. I suppose you could say it was mutual if they didn't want me to stay either."

As Victor Meldrew would say, I DON'T BELIEVE IT
Nigel Clough has been sacked as manager of Sheffield United, the club have announced.
The Blades finished fifth in League One and failed to gain promotion through the play-offs.
A statement on the club's website said: "A change in direction was necessary for the forthcoming season."
Clough, 49, had managerial spells at Burton Albion and Derby County manager before replacing David Weir at Bramall Lane in October 2013.

SHTEVE SAYS " SHOW ME THE MONEY"
McCLAREN WANTS PAYOUT
Steve McClaren’s days as manager of Derby County are ‘definitely over’ with Sky sources saying that the former England manager is refusing to walk from Pride Park without collecting some ‘significant compensation.’
McClaren and his agent met with club’s officials last week, with more meetings expected to be held on Bank Holiday Monday.
Sky Sports News HQ reporter Rob Dorsett says these latest meetings are “to thrash out an exit strategy, compensation, the terms of McClaren’s departure.”
I say, "greedy bugger, he should be paying them for giving him a job after he was shown the door at Forest"

Former Nottingham Forest manager Steve McClaren has been sacked as Derby head coach, the Championship club has announced.
McClaren, who succeeded Reds' legend Nigel Clough as boss at the iPro Stadium back in September 2013, has paid the ultimate price for failing to guide the Rams to the Premier League this season.
Next stop Newcastle? You lucky magpies.

THANKS FOR GETTING US PROMOTED TO THE PREMIERSHIP WHICH IS WORTH £120 MILLION AND OH BYE THE WAY "YOURS SACKED"
Watford are close to replacing boss Slavisa Jokanovic with Getafe and former Atletico Madrid manager Quique Sanchez Flores.
Jokanovic, 46, led Watford to automatic promotion from the Championship to the Premier League this season.
However his contract expires at the end of next month and talks have broken down over his contract demands.
Watford have now approached 50-year-old Spaniard, Flores, who is set to become the Hornets' fifth manager in a year.
It is understood former Chelsea midfielder Jokanovic asked for a pay rise the owners felt was beyond what they could pay.
Jokanovic was appointed last October and won 21 of his 36 games in charge as the Hornets finished second behind Bournemouth in the Championship.
He was the club's fourth manager of the season following stints in charge for Beppe Sannino, Oscar Garcia and Billy McKinlay.

The 67-year-old Dutchman said he no longer wished to continue a career in club management.
He joined the Black Cats until the end of the season in March, replacing the sacked Gus Poyet, with the side one point above the relegation zone.

Championship club Brentford have named Excelsior manager Marinus Dijkhuizen as their new head coach. The 43-year-old Dutchman replaces Mark Warburton, who left at the end of the season despite reaching the play-offs. Warburton led the Bees to promotion from League One last year but was told in February he would not be retained at the end of the campaign. Dijkhuizen will be assisted by Roy Hendriksen, who joins the club from Dutch side NEC.
