Bookmakers William Hill have suspended betting on who will replace Nigel Pearson after a series of large, four-figure sums were placed on Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill returning to the club.

THE RETURN OF "TINKERMAN"
Claudio Ranieri has been appointed as Leicester City's manager on a three-year contract.
The Italian 63-year-old has previously managed Chelsea, where he was sacked in 2004, and was also dismissed from his last job with the Greece national team last year. (Good CV then)
The 63-year-old Italian replaces Nigel Pearson, who was sacked in June despite keeping the Foxes in the Premier League last season.
