BIG DAY IN THE PREMIERSHIP
Leicester could go well clear today if they win and Spurs don't if that's the case then the title is all but over - 10 Points clear with 5 to go.
But more interesting today's result in the Sunderland v Leicester game could be more important for teams at the wrong end of the division. And if Sunderland win it would finally put under achieving Villa out of their misery.
Why would a Sunderland win relegate Villa? Surely It's Norwich that Villa need to better to stay up? No.
There's quite a few people out there asking the same question but honestly it is true - if Sunderland beat Leicester today then Villa are mathematically down.
It might not seem obvious but it's because Norwich play Sunderland next Saturday. If Norwich and Sunderland start that game on 31 and 30 points respectively then at least one of them is guaranteed to reach 32 points – putting them (and 17th place) definitely out of Villa’s reach.

All these permutations!!! Anyone who thinks Villa could anyway win their final FIVE games is bonkers!
Man U./Southampton/Watford/Newcastle/Arsenal.
They're down.

No, be fair. With Leicester city's 0-2 win at Stumberland, Awful Villa lives to fight another day.
You just can't beat a long drawn out hanging can you?

TO GOOD TO GO DOWN?
Steve Claridge believes the current Newcastle squad would be the best ever to suffer relegation from the Premier League.
The Magpies are six points from safety with six games left to play. On Saturday, Newcastle defender Jamaal Lascelles said the players were to blame for their poor season.
OH YEAH?
Try telling that to the supporters of Leeds United/Sheffield Wednesday or United/Wolves/Nottingham Forest/QPR and many more including Manchester United.
Your never to big to go down as Awful Villa and Stumberland will soon find out. The league positions doesn't tell lies.

IMO Foxes will win the premiership and good luck to them. They might be local rivals to my team but like Forest in the late 70's and 80's they are like a breath of fresh air and have ruffled the feathers of the so called 'big boys'
But I reckon that they might run out of steam next season when the 'big' clubs come with their cheque books and Leicester lose their top players.
Man city all the way for me, Manchester will go blue. Hope they don't get Real Madrid though, defiantly on the up after Zidane took over the helm.
Bye the way, welcome aboard the forum hoopy 67

FROM BAD TO WORSE
No surprise really, after only three wins all season Aston Villa will not be holding the traditional award.
In a statement a spokesperson said: "The Club will not be holding its annual Player of the Year Awards at the conclusion of this season. In the current circumstances, we are sure our supporters will understand."
I heard today on 'Talk Radio Europe' that a pair of home tickets for Leicester City's are on sale online for £15,000 whilst a pair of Villas tickets are on sale for 15pence available from Dignatas:-)

Man city's chance in Champions league look even better now Barca knock out so the noisy neighbours now look the number 1 club in the city.
Big game in our city this weekend hopefully the green half will be happy.
What about Mazarron can they still get promotion have they still got a chance and how many teams go up from this league I am back over in May so will have a look at fixtures and hopefully take in another game.

Mazarron FC are in good position with regards to a play off place and even an automatic promotion is not beyond them, just need to turn draws into wins and stop getting silly yellow cards which will deplete the squad by two players next weekend. Hope that you get down to see a couple of game in the run in to the end of the season. By the way, what's the difference between Nottingham Forest and Barcelona? Forest have won the European cup AND retained it unlike Barca.

Big game in our city this weekend hopefully the green half will be happy. Sorry to have to say it Hoopy, but as a Brentford man I'll be supporting Mark Warburton's lads. What a story for him if he can get a quite unique treble! How many Scottish teams will have pocketed TWO cups and a league in the same season?

CALLING ALL ASTON VILLA/SUNDERLAND/NORWICH & NECASTLE SUPPORTERS
(perm any two from Sunderland, Norwich & Newcastle)
For your information you will be able to watch your team play on channel 5 at 9pm (10pm in Spain) next season.
You'll only get highlights and it's a rubbish programme but that's what you have to put up with in the championship.
And if things don't go right for you next year, don't worry as they also show leagues 1 & 2 for when you fall through the trapdoor again.

AND THE NEWS GET'S WORSE FOR THE RELEGATED PREMIERSHIP SIDES
Relegation could cost Villa and others turnover of £100m'
That is Dr Andrew Jones, a football finance expert from Coventry University, assessesment of the impact on relegation from the Premier League for Aston Villa and others relegated this season and who will now miss out on a share of a new £5bn TV rights deal.

Just watched Spurs game played very good football do you think they can still win the league now 5 behind with 4 to play. IMO think Norwich will go down with villa and Newcastle
Poor performance from hoops on Sunday better team won, think we will be looking for new manager at end of season as our performances this season have been poor.
