This is getting silly! (Wasn't it already?)
Apparently, one option the 'new' Lorca FC is working on IS to resurrect Lorca FC 'B' from the ashes to play in the Tercera!!!
22 teams!!!!!!!
Which, of course, raises the obvious question.............if we're back where we started, how is it possible for CD Algar to get a promotion? Answers on a postcard to the Murcian Fed.
It's also reported that the new manager of Lorca FC will be Paco Garcia who managed Mazarron back in 2008!

Tuesday 7th...............
Do we have an answer?
Rumour is that the national Federation (RFEF) have rejected the Lorca FC resolution proposal.
If true, they will NOT participate in Segunda B.
It is also rumoured (by Mazarrón FC actually!) that the Segunda B place will go to UD Ibiza. Presumably, Yeclano and other clubs baulked at paying the €400,000+ cost.
Where that leaves the Tercera line-up remains to be seen. We await the white smoke from the Murcian Fed.
Will a Lorca FC team appear or not? That is the question.

Tuesday 7th............... Will a Lorca FC team appear or not? That is the question. The latest rumoured answer is..... YES - in the Tercera! Which, by my reckoning would make 22 teams! So, if they don't get the season started soon, we'll still be playing fixtures when the 2019/20 season comes around! Mind you, it makes the season ticket (based on 20 home games) look amazing value! 10% more for your money.

Wednesday 8th.....
Ye gods. Will this thing ever end?
Because the Tercera is officially a 'national' division (i.e. not an 'autonomica' like the Preferente), there is chatter going on between the federations and Lorca FC as to if they would be eligible to play in the Tercera as they did not settle the debt to the RFEF!
The new owner, Snr. Torres, has popped off to Madrid to meet with the RFEF to try to find a solution. In the meantime, the Murcian Fed. has postponed the issue of the Tercera fixture list which was, apparently, planned for today.
Only in Spain...................

Thursday 9th.
It's a bit like those trips to the sea with the kids..........
"Are we there yet?"
"Almost!"
Following today's resolution to the "Lorca case" by the RFEF, Roberto Torres, president of Lorca FC, is planning to give a press conference tomorrow Friday to explain everything that happened and the new project for 2018/19. (Lorca FC press release)
The Murcian Fed. has said it will then issue the fixtures for the Tercera.

Friday 10th..............13:00 (Spanish)
Trecera.com are reporting that Lorca FC WILL play in the Tercera this season.
Presumably the RFEF have accepted the Lorca FC payment schedule - what we used to call in the 50's, the 'never-never'!

The regular season is scheduled to end on the weekend of 19th May. This will entail four midweek 'jornadas' and only one week's break at Christmas. Teams will certainly need strong squads and it will be essential that players avoid stupid suspensions. By the way....guess where we go for week 2....C.D. Minera! Full fixture list now on the website: www.mazarronfc.es/calendario.htm

At least it's cleared that up!
Now...what about the END of the season???
What are they going to do to get the league down to 20 teams?
Answers on a postcard to the FFRM!
EDIT:
Looks like it's odds on being FIVE relegations and three up from the Preferente.
Unless someone makes it up to Segunda 'B'.

It's also reported that the new manager of Lorca FC will be Paco Garcia who managed Mazarron back in 2008! Actually, it's Pep Guardiola..................... AKA.....Antonio Alcázar "TATO". Coach, last season, of the Lorca FC 'B' team.

NO BOOZE IN THE MUNICIPAL STADIUM PEDRO MENDEZ MENDEZ
Its being reported that for the upcoming season alcohol will not be allowed in the stadium during games😱😱😱
At the last pre season game at home the canteen only served non alcoholic beer.
La Sienna restaurant is just across the road from the stadium if you need liquid reinforcement during the game and at half time🥂🍷🥃🍸🍹🍾🍻
