NEW SIGNING? It is being reported that Mazarrón F.C. have signed prolific striker Blas Bazan from Alhama. He is second top scorer in our league with 20 goals and has been an ever present in their side except when suspended, he has 10 yellow cards to his name. Blas is responsible for just under half of ALL of Alhamas 47 goals this season and is scoring at a rate of .8 goals per game. Alhama are still in the hunt, just, for a playoff place so the move comes at a strange time. Here is the ‘Red boys’ posting regarding our new boy. “Our brand new signing, top scorer of the preferred, Blas Bazan, thank you for coming with us and luck crack.” Blas has replied on his Twitter feed Blas Bazan “The pleasure is mine together we will achieve the objective“

WONDERING WHERE PABLO OUR GOALKEEPER HAS BEEN? READ THE ARTICLE BELOW FROM THE MAZARRÓN HOY SITE

Meritorious third place in this championship with Levante UD beach soccer where Pablo López continues to acquire experiences and games to prepare for the new European with the U-21 team in June.
At the beginning of April Levante UD of beach soccer got in contact with the Mazarron Pablo Lopez to propose him to dispute one of the most important championships at international level that would be disputed between the 15th and the 18th of April in Iran.
The competition was held in the city of Yazd, (Iran). Call Eurasia Beach Soccer Cup, composed of 4 teams of the highest level:
-Levante UD (Spain) -Catania BSC (Italy) -Lokomotiv BSC (Russian benchmark and current world champion of clubs and Russian champion, strongest league in the world) -Bs Golsapoosh (Iran)
The first game faced the Iranian team losing 1-2 in the last few minutes. The second match they lost 4-6 against Lokomotiv BSC, current world champion in a very beautiful match. To finish Levante UD clearly beat Catania by 5-2 getting the third place in the championship.

I see that the end of the season function has been moved back to the La Sienna restaurant opposite the football ground.
A good decision. Much nicer atmosphere for the lads being a Spanish restaurant and right next to the ground Pepi will make everyone welcome with good food and good drinks to wash it all down with.
I hope it’s a great night.
For further details go to the Los Amigos Facebook site where everything regarding the function is detailed.

THE BOUDIA FIASCO
The three month suspension for Boudia, does it start from the imposition of the sanction ie Wednesday or from the start of next season?
I reckon It must start from yesterday as it would cover the last game plus the playoffs.
But if that’s the case does it cover the close season? Will he be eligible to play come the start of next season?
Typical Spanish federation, as clear as mud.
I am told that the football club have asked the federation for clarification but they have yet to reply. Watch this space

WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BASI??
Our goal machine left us after netting 15 goal and move to Los Garres.
He plays three times for them, scores two goals and then disappears.
If we had kept hold of him would he have been the player who could have turned a playoff place into automatic promotion?
