NOW I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE CHAIRMAN SACK THIS NEW BOSS. Boxer Curtis Woodhouse takes over as Goole boss Professional boxer Curtis Woodhouse has taken over as the manager of Goole. Former Mansfield and Lincoln boss David Holdsworth left the Northern Premier League First Division South club after Saturday's 3-0 home loss to Coalville. The game was marred by an incident that saw defender Karl Colley attempt to punch a Coalville fan after being sent off - the club subsequently sacked him. Woodhouse, who had been Holdsworth's assistant, previously had a short spell as Sheffield FC boss.

From the BBC football web site. Malky Mackay surprised by timing of Michael Laudrup sacking
Ex-Cardiff boss Malky Mackay says he was surprised by the timing of Michael Laudrup's sacking as Swansea manager four days before the south Wales derby.
He was dismissed on 27 December and replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer within a week.
In spite of the experience, Mackay is keen on making a quick return to the game. "I want to be a manager again," he said.
"I was very proud and honoured to be the manager of Cardiff City and enjoyed my work in the Premier League and it's certainly something that I want to do again without a doubt."
