HAS THE ROUND ABOUT GONE INTO REVERSE? (Scottish edition)
Caretaker manager Kenny McDowall is open to Ally McCoist returning as Rangers manager but says he does not know what Rangers' new board is planning.
McCoist was put on gardening leave in December.
"I was working with Ally, so obviously that would appeal to me," said McDowall. "But it's a difficult one to answer because the board will obviously have their own ideas."

NOW WE DIDN'T SEE THIS COMING DID WE?
Championship strugglers Millwall have sacked manager Ian Holloway.
The 51-year-old, who was appointed in January 2014, had his contract terminated with the Lions second from bottom after five defeats in six games.
Ex-Millwall striker Neil Harris will take charge for the rest of the season.
Will Ian Holloway be next years Los Amigos gala after dinner speaker?

NO, THE MAGIC ROUND ABOUT IS STILL TURNING THE CORRECT WAY AFTER ALL
Glasgow Rangers appoint new manager
Stuart McCall has been appointed Rangers manager until the end of the season, BBC Scotland understands.
It is not known yet if he will retain current caretaker manager Kenny McDowall on the coaching staff, or bring an assistant in with him.
I would have preferred Ally to have come back, not many characters left in football and he is one of them.

HERE'S A TURN UP, A MANAGER WHO IS STAYING........FOR NOW
Hull City boss Steve Bruce has agreed a contract extension with the Premier League side.
Bruce, 54, took over at the KC Stadium in June 2012 and led them to promotion in his first season with the club.
Last season he took them to their first ever FA Cup final, losing to Arsenal in extra-time, as well as guiding them to 16th in the top flight.

BYE BYE GUS
Sunderland have sacked manager Gus Poyet after a run of just one victory in 12 Premier League games. The Black Cats are one point above the relegation zone after Saturday's 4-0 home defeat by Aston Villa.
"Sadly, we have not made the progress that any of us had hoped for this season," said chairman Ellis Short.
"We find ourselves battling, once again, at the wrong end of the table. We have therefore made the difficult decision that a change is needed."
A Sunderland statement also added that an announcement about Poyet's successor would be made "in due course".

AND WHO'S NEXT TO JOIN THE REVOLVING DOOR?
Dick Advocaat is expected to take over Sunderland for the rest of the season following Gus Poyet's sacking.
Reports suggest ex-Netherlands coach Advocaat, 67, has flown to Sunderland and will be appointed on Tuesday.
Dutch journalist Arno Vermeulen told BBC Radio 5 live he had spoken to Advocaat and was "99% certain" his countryman would become boss for the final nine games.
Edit
Now appointed, good luck pal as you'll need it.

Shaun Derry was the longest serving, having been in the role since November 2013. The other six are Steve Cotterill, Craig Short, Paul Ince, Martin Allen, Keith Curle, and Chris Kiwomya. (BBC Sport)"

Hmmmm. NO SMOKE WITHOUT A FIRE.
Mark Warburton says he will not consider a future with QPR or anyone else until Brentford's season is over.
The highly-regarded Warburton will be out of work this summer after deciding he would not work within a new management structure due to be implemented at Griffin Park.
QPR were linked with the 52-year-old in the wake of Harry Redknapp's departure, and the club's director of football Les Ferdinand this week said that he is "impressed, to say the least" with Warburton's role in leading Brentford to the verge of the Championship play-offs.
