I BET THEY APPEAL AND GET AWAY WITH IT
Spanish giants Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are banned from registering players for the next two transfer windows.
They have been punished by world governing body Fifa for breaching rules over the transfer of minors. The ban does not cover the current transfer window, which runs until the end of this month.
Atletico were fined 900,000 Swiss francs (£622,000), while Real were told to pay 360,000 (£249,000).

I TOLD YOU THAT THEY WILL GET AWAY WITH IT.
Fifa have granted Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid a provisional suspension of their one-year ban on registering new players pending the outcome of their appeals.
Will Real be able to sign players in the summer after all? We shall see. A few lawyers will be trousering some Euros, that is for sure.

A HAND UP FOR HIS LAD?
An injury crisis at Real Madrid sees Karim Benzema, Marcelo, Gareth Bale and Pepe all missing from training.
So, boss Zinedine Zidane took the opportunity to dip into the youth team and call up some of the youngsters, report Sport.
Among them include Zinedine's son Enzo. Like father, like son?
Only he turns out as good as Brian's lad, Nigel.

Poor old Cristiano.
The diver-in-chief (no, not Louis Van Gaal!) reckons "If everyone were at my level, we would probably be top."
And, he's p****d off that Messi passed the penalty kick to Suarez to keep Suarez ahead of him in the Pichichi. Currently, Suarez has 25 goals and Ronaldo 22.
All of this came out in a desperate attempt to divert attention from his currently poor performances - by his standards.

DOES ISIS KNOW NO DEPTH?
ISIS have slaughtered at least 14 Real Madrid fans at a supporters club in northern Iraq.
Three gunmen opened fire with machine guns around midnight at the cafe in the predominately Shi'ite Muslim town of Balad.
President of the Madrid supporters club, Ziad Subhan, said: 'A group of Islamic terrorists, from ISIS, came into the café, armed with AK-47s, shooting at random at everyone who was inside'.
When asked about the motive for the attack, the president said: 'They don't like football, they think it's anti-Muslim. They just carry out attacks like this. This is a terrible tragedy

ONE RULE FOR ONE AND ONE RULE FOR OTHERS?
Real Madrid transfer ban reduced to just January
Real Madrid will be able to sign players next summer, but not next month, after a Court of Arbitration for Sport ruling.
They, and Atletico Madrid, had been banned from signing players for two transfer windows for breaching rules over the transfer of foreign players under 18.
A Real statement read: "This award highlights the unfairness of the penalty imposed by Fifa in its day, although the club regrets that the Cas has not had enough courage to repeal it entirely."
There is no word on Atletico's fate yet.
