Actually 6-1! And another hat-trick for Leo sending him level with Ronaldo as they go for the Pichichi as leading scorer.

Bearing in mind that Barcelona have a 70% possession rate for the whole of the season so far, it's interesting to note they only had 57% in this game. Marca have a chart showing where on the pitch the game was played and it shows that Rayo hardly got into the Barca penalty area. I assume the mark on the right hand penalty spot was when Rayo took the penalty for their one goal!

REAL MADRID 9 GRANADA 1 (lucky RM)
Was it only 5 or 6 years ago we traveled to Granada to watch Mazarron CF play at their magnificent stadium?
It could have been Mazarron FC today in Madrid and I think that the scoreline would have been different.

And with FIVE goals, Ronaldo goes ahead of Messi! Poor old Gareth Bale. With all that opportunity, he could only conjure up a single goal! He'll be on his way this summer.

Debut for wonderkid?
Norwegian teenage sensation Martin Odegaard could make his first appearance for Real Madrid when the European champions host Almeria on Wednesday.
The 16-year-old, signed for £2.3m from Stromgodset in January, has been included in Carlo Ancelotti's squad for the first time.
So far his time with the first team has been limited to training sessions, but he has played for the reserve team in the third tier of Spanish football.
"Tomorrow in the squad there will be three youth team players and they could get an opportunity to play," Ancelotti said.
Madrid will again be without the injured Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Luka Modric, while Dani Carvajal and Sergio Ramos sit out due to suspension.

Madrid clubs facing transfer ban?
Atletico Madrid say they are unaware of a possible transfer embargo after Spanish media reported Fifa were set to bar the club and city rivals Real Madrid from the next two windows.
According to the reports, Fifa have decided to sanction the pair over the transfer of players aged under 18.
"We have no information regarding that," an Atletico spokesman said. "We collaborated with Fifa in the investigation at all times."
Last year, Barcelona were punished for breaching Fifa's rules on the transfer of international players aged under 18. The club is currently serving a 14-month ban and cannot sign players until January 2016.

Well, it's taken 44 minutes, but Real go in 1-0 up courtesy of a screamer from James Rodriguez! The flood gates may be opening....47 mins and Ronaldo makes it 2-0. 84 mins and the best image of the night...Arbeloa takes the ball off Ronaldo's boot for the third! CR7 is not happy! Even better, his 'goal' earlier has been marked up as a propia puerta! So no goals for him tonight! Messi's 2 goals from last night have brought him to within one goal of Ronaldo in the Pichichi trophy race. Final score 3-0.

Not to be outdone, Ronaldo trumps Messi's 2 goals with a hat-trick of his own to move one goal ahead again for the Pichichi as Real squeeze past Sevilla 3-2.

Real Madrid versus Valencia.
Valencia holds out for 83 mins having gone 2-0 up....then a screamer from Isco brings them to 2-2.
Free kick to CR7 on the edge of the box........
...deflected wide.
Real need the win...!!!
FIVE minutes added time!
Both teams need the win....end-to-end stuff!
30 seconds...free kick to Real.......
...Pepe meets it head-on...Diego Alves touches it on to the post....and the whistle blows!
All over 2-2....neither team happy.
But Juve will be - Real worked hard today.

Here's a quirky one for you... Real Madrid and Barcelona have both played a total of 2648 La Liga matches. And both have conceded the same number of goals - 3027.

Messi could only manage 2 goals today as Barca drew with Deportivo (a draw which preserved Deportivo's La Liga status). So Ronaldo takes the Pichichi with 45 (plus any later tonight) to Messi's 43.
And we're underway in the final game of the season.
Real Madrid versus Getafe.
Is it Ancelotti's last game in charge? Is he off back to Italy to manage AC Milan with £150m to spend on transfers (Marca)? Will he be replaced by Rafa Benitez.
Answers to these and many other questions will be found in these pages as they get resolved.
12 mins gone and Ronaldo adds to his total. Typical header 1-0.
22 mins and the left-back scores for Getafe with a scorcher. 1-1.
25 mins and it's 1-2. Yep....Getafe equal their highest scoring game this season with a second. Another scorcher! 1-2.
31 mins and it's Ronaldo 2-2 Getafe. Easy free kick.
33 mins for Ronaldo to complete his hat-trick - from the spot. 3-2.
41 mins and what a game! Getafe score more goals at the Bernabeu than in any other of their games this season!
Lacen lashes in from close range to make it 3-3.
Second half underway and we've already got another goal! Ronaldo misses the chance for his 4th (hitting the post) but Chicharito puts away the rebound....4-3.
50 mins...quality tells...James puts the free-kick right in the corner....5-3.
70 mins...sweeping move down the left...James to Jesé and it's 6-3.
89 mins...another sweeping move ends with Marcelo making it 7-UP!
So we end the La Liga season with a 10-goal game.
Real Madrid 7-3 Getafe.

NOT THE BEST KEPT SECRET
Real Madrid have confirmed that Rafa Benitez will be presented as their new coach today.
The Spanish club say he will sign a three-year deal.

RAFA'S FIGHTING BACK!!!
4 for Bale, 3 for Benzema, 2 for Cristiano and 1 for Danilo.
Rayo Vallecano didn't now what hit them!
Mind you, going down to 9 men didn't help.
10-2.
