A very interesting article here chronicling the way UCAM Murcia has come from the old Los Garres club to become serious rivals to the historic Real Murcia. It's a shame the article doesn't include the period when Ciudad de Murcia played at the Condomina in the early 2000's. The way football is run in Murcia certainly leaves lots to be desired and I'm convinced that there are many devious actions hidden in the background. Someone will write them up one day. thesefootballtimes.co/2017/09/27/a-tale-of-one-city-murcia/

Hi Les
I too thought this vey interesting when i first saw it about a month ago
However it could be my age (almost) 75 but i seem to recall around 2006 when both teams were in division 2 Cuidad Murcia were bought out by a bloke from Granada who moved the "franchise" to granada giving them a higher foothold in the league set up and we all know what happened to them and Tony Adams etc etc
