I've 'doctored' the league table to upload to the website. We're still in second place by 1 point.

As you might know both the Juvenile and Cadete teams have a weekend off this weekend but Jose, Perete and the cadete trainers don't like to think that the lads will have a lazy time, so they have arranged a couple of games for them.
First up, and at the moment I am still awaiting final details of this game.
FRIDAY 7th February (time and location to be confirmed)
Mazarron FC juvenile v a team from Norway currently having a winter break on Polaris world
Watch out for more details and I will circulate them as soon as Jose sends me the timings/location. SATURDAY 8th February
Mazarron FC Juveniles v Mazarron FB Cadetes
At Municipal Stadium (our home ground) kickoff 12.00 noon
Both these sides are either at the top of their respective league or there or there abouts, so there will be a lot of bragging right as to who comes out on top. Should be a great game. ENTRY FREE.

The juveniles have played 2 games in two days with mixed fortunes.
The first game was against a Norwegian juvenile team who play in the top juvenile league back in Norway and apparently were twice the size of our boys, maybe a juveniles in Norway are a different age group or they just feed them on raw meat.
The game was eventually play at the Hacianda de Alamo as the pitch at polaris world is, how can I say this, rubbish.
Jose said that our lads were somewhat outplayed and the Mazarron FC keeper kept the score down to a respectable 7-0 to Norway. But life is about experiences and this certainly appears to have been an experience.
The second game was against our cadete team, a side which was depleted by the absence of Fran and Christian both recovering from knocks. Domingo, the star of the cadete side didn't make an appearance until the second half as he is also recovering from a slight injury.
The juveniles were missing Jose, one of the main strikers with an injured ankle but welcomed back, after a long absence, Perico who has been sorely missed in both the juvenile and senior teams this season. He is no where near match fit but well on the way to full recovery.
The final score was 7-0 to the juveniles with Perico scoring 2 and the cadetes very unlucky to not get on the score sheet, hitting the bar and had a couple cleared of the line and the last two goals were very unfortunate own goals off the excellent cadete goalkeeper.
The first when at full stretch he pushed the ball onto the post only for it to bounce back, hitting him on his head and going in and the second again a great save only for it to hit a defender then onto the unfortunate keeper for another own goal, what a pity for a fine young keeper, but that's life.
So all in all a good run out for both team before it's back to the reality of the league next weekend.

Can you believe this?
From the 6 games being played this weekend in our juveniles league there are 37 players/club officials suspended for the match.
37, unbelievable but I'm pleased to say that Mazarron FC juvenile side are at full strength for this Saturdays game whilst the opposition are missing just one players.

Mazarron FC juvenile extract sweet revenge for the senior team. FINAL SCORE
Mazarron FC juveniles 5 Cabezo de Torres juveniles 3Mazarron goal scorers: ALEJANDRO GARCIA RODRIGUEZ (1) BRAYAN ALCARAZ PUERTA (1) FRANCISCO JOSE HERRERA ZAMORA (2) MIGUEL UREÑA PUCHE (1) Mazarron FC started this game with 5 first team regulars missing yet still ran the football game from start to finish. Within minutes of the kickoff Mazarron missed two glorious chances to open the score one being a hard cross, across the 6 yard box which was just missed and that was followed by number 10 Fran blazing over with the goal at his mercy. The visitors were not getting a sniff of a chance, very rarely getting into the Mazarron half but surprisingly they took the lead. From a very iffy free kick awarded for, well we don't know why, the ball bounced on the rutted surface in the goal area kicking up into the home team keepers chest, the ball rebounded kindly to a Cabezo forward and from one yard he slotted home. 0-1 The next action all started from the Mazarron keeper delivering a long ball deep into the away sides left hand side, the ball was played across to the edge of the penalty and on the full volley the Mazarron number 10 smashed the ball against the left hand post, the ball fell to the awaiting Brayan who equalised from close range. 1-1 Mazarron were completely in control at this time but from a long clearance the ball bobbled about the Mazarron area and a low hard shot was excellently saved by the home keeper but again he only managed to push it out to a Cabezo forward who restored their lead. 1-2 It was then wave after wave of Mazarron attacks and from one such attack a clear penalty should have been awarded but Mazarron's only reward was a corner which was delivered to the awaiting head of Miguel who had come up from his defencive role and the net bulged again for Mazarron. 2-2 Just before half time Juana won a 50-50 ball and had only the keeper to beat but was pulled down in the penalty are by the goal minder resulting in a converted penalty by the home side number 9 Fran. 3-2 and HALF TIME. In the second half Mazarron set off like a steam train and within seconds of the restart had two clear cut chances, one by the young English lad Steven O'Neill but the chances came and went. Steven again went very close a few moments later and was only denied by an excellent save by the Cabezo keeper. A substitution by Mazarron saw number 17, Ale, brought on and from his first touch after only 30 seconds he increased Mazarron FC lead. He received the ball just outside of the box, beat two defenders and with the outside of the boot the ball swerved past the keeper and nestled into the net just inside the right hand post. Great goal. 4-2 Then Mazarron commenced to shoot themselves in the foot. The ball went out on the far side and at this point Mazarron had two attackers to just one defender with only then the keeper to beat but the throw went straight to the defender? ? He hit it long and hard to the right hand corner flag where it was collect by a Cabezo attacker and from the resultant cross they brought themselves a goal nearer Mazarron. 4-3 Both teams then went for the three points with the Mazarron number 8 beating two defender after he received the ball which had been knocked about with ease by the Mazarron front line only to see his goal bound shot stopped with a great save. But Mazarron were not to be denied. Following a last minute tackle which stopped Fran scoring the ball was hit into the corner to run the clock down, but the Mazarron number 9 had other ideas and when he received the ball on the edge of the area he made no mistake with an excellent drive into the top right hand corner, What a goal. 5-3 FINAL SCORE

I really do despair of the Federation statistics!
Aguilas actually have the same record as Mazarron. P16, W11, D2, L3 Pts 35. The Fed. have still not included the win against CAP Ciudad de Murcia in the table.
