Looks like we may have two Spanish clubs in the Europa League semis too!
Sevilla duly complete the win over Porto. Turning over a 0-1 loss from the first leg with a 4-1 win at the Pizjuan.
And we're into extra time at the Mestalla as Valencia come back from their 0-3 drubbing in Basel with a 3-0 score after 90 mins of their own.
Here we go.........
Basel have lost the plot! They've picked up 2 red cards in the first period of extra time!
112 mins and it's all Valencia....PACO COJONES ALCÁCER (according to Marca!) completes his hat-trick and puts the whites in front for the first time!
117 mins and it's now 5-0.
So they complete the greatest come-back in Europa League history to go through. Oh to be in Valencia tonight!

Well, there will be one Spanish team in the final anyway! Sevilla vs Valencia and Juve vs Benfica.
Unai Emery will be back at the Mestalla hoping his new club Sevilla can put one over on his old club Valencia.

So Unai's Sevilla (with a fair amount of help from el arbitro) take a 2-0 lead to the Mestalla next week. That may not be enough. The locals will certainly want to put one over on their ex-manager. But the lack of an away goal could prove decisive. So, on balance, I'll go for a local win by a single goal or two. Will that be 2-0 and on to penalties, or more than that for a Valencia victory?
Tune in next Thursday to find out!

Well here we are then...4 out of the last 6 teams in European competition are Spanish.
And, tonight, Mazarrón sits firmly in the middle of the two Europa League teams.
500km north of Seville and 300km south of Valencia.
Who will you bet on?
Half an hour 'til we start to find out!
And keep your eye on the other semi. Benfica have a 2-1 lead going to Juventus. But that away goal looks ominous with Juvé aiming to win through to play in the final on their own ground in 2 weeks' time.
13 mins gone and Valencia are back in it! Feghouli finishes off a great passing move. 1-0 (Agg 1-2).
25 mins and Valencia even up the tie. Jonas with a superb glancing header. Valencia on a roll! The Mestalla's rocking!
70 mins and Valencia go ahead......poacher's goal by Matthieu. 3-0 (agg 3-2).
Into 5 minutes added time.
Meanwhile, Mark Clattenburg is having fun in Turin. Two straight red cards to the Benfica bench! Still 0-0 there! Juvé won't be happy!
But Valencia will now be even unhappier!!!!!! M'bia gets the away goal for Sevilla after a terrible mistake by Matthieu! It's the 95th minute..............
Over in Turin, it's the 95th minute too...................
After 97 minutes MC blows the final whistle. 0-0 (Agg 1-2)
So it'll be Seville versus Benfica in the final.
As a postscript....one of the Turin red cards was actually to the Juvé bench! But with a further red following two yellows, Benfica are definitely going to be under-strength for the final!

105 mins and the score is....................................................0-0.
120 mins and the score is...................................................I'll leave you to guess!
We have a goal......Benfica 1-0.
Benfica 1-1 Sevilla.
Benfica MISS.
Benfica 1-2 Sevilla.
Benfica MISS.
Benfica 1-3 Sevilla.
Benfica 2-3 Sevilla.
Kevin Gameiro scores to take the trophy to Seville! Well done to Unai Emery's team.
