On Tuesday night the awards for players of the season were awarded.
The player of the year was Antonio Peña. 🏆
The players play of the year was captain Adrian Campoy 🏆
The player of the year must have been a close run thing between Peña and Andreo. Both excellent servants of the club.

And no doubt also the federations player of the year due to his regular contributions to their coffers. Is their a player with a worse disciplinary record in the league than our captain?

SO WHO’S THE NAUGHTIEST BOY?
It a close run thing between Andreo and Adrian.
According to the Federation site here are their bad boy stats
ADRIAN
Total sanctions 18 Yellow cards 15 Double yellow cards 3 Straight red cards 0 Games played 37 out of 42
ANDREO
Total sanctions 22 Yellow cards 20 Double yellow cards 1 Straight red card 1 Games played 36 out of 42
How many games did each player miss due to sanctions. Still works no that one out.
I hope that the bosses at the Federation enjoy their summer cruise compliment of the fines imposed. 🛳🚢⛴🛥🚤

Interestingly, I can't find anyone in the Algar side (the worst for total cards) who comes close to those two exceptional totals!

Not good for either but 1 is a young player finding his way as a combative midfielder and the other is a seasoned player who wears the Captains armband hopefully setting an example to his own players. Sadly the other players by voting for him as players player of the year think he sets the right example. From the disciplinary stats and in my opinion this seems to sum up Mazarrons disciplinary issues. Can we have another season like this?

I think Los Amigos need to say if they are happy that nearly half of their fund-raising is spent on players and officials fines.
