SOUTH KOREA 0-4 SPAIN
Our local heroine, Eva Navarro from Yecla, got the Rojitas off to a flying start with the first goal in this emphatic victory in Uruguay.
She also gets credit for one assist.
In all truth, the Koreans were terrible with a comical mix-up between goalkeeper and defender gifting one of the Spanish goals (not Eva's!).
Spain's other two games in the group stage are against Colombia on Saturday and Canada next Wednesday.
Having been runners-up in 2014 and bronze medallists in 2016, the Rojitas are hoping to bring home the gold this time.
