FIRST AWAY GAME OF THE SEASON
CD MINERA v MAZARRÓN F.C.
Kickoff 7pm (19.00) Sunday 2nd September
To be played at the stadium Campo Municipal ‘Angel Celdran’
This top of the table clash between the joint second placed sides in the league takes place this Sunday, yes I know it’s only the second game of the season but it sounds good doesn’t it.
LAST WEEKEND
Last weekend saw Mazarrón F.C. return to the Tercera Division for the first time in a long time and came away with a deserved 2-0 win against a side well established in this division, Huercal-Overa. These are early days but the signs looked good especially as a number of influential players were missing including Boudia, serving one of the six match bans that he pick up at the end of last season and Joseda.
Meanwhile CD Minera were 0-2 winners at CAP Ciudad de Murcia, a good three points on the road for our opponents.
HOW TO GET THERE
The Los Amigos supporters coach will be running for this game and details will be published on their Facebook site and on this forum when available.
The Campo municipal Angel Celdran is situated in the village of El Llano de Beal and is best reached by the independent traveler by travelling along the toll AP7 motorway until you reach the Cartagena/La Manga junction which is the RM12. Travel along the RM 12 towards La Manga until you see the turning for El Llano de Beal which is a few KM after the El Algar turn off. The road is numbered the RM-F42.This road will take you straight to the ground which is to be found on your right just after a large furniture store. For those with sat navs the coordinates are 37° 37' 38" N, 00° 50' 12" W
From Camposol the ground is 64kM away and should take about 45 minutes to get there.
The stadium reportedly has a natural grass surface although I remember it having and artificial 3G playing surface, with seating down one side and the usual canteen and toilet facilities.
CD Minera play in red shirts and blue shorts so expect our boys to be in white.
SANCTIONS AND SUSPENSIONS
At this early stage of the season there will only be hang over suspensions from last season and we of course have Boudia missing. But I will check on Thursday to see if the federation post any others.
Hopefully Andreo will have recovered from his stomach problems from last weekend and Diego is full fit following his substitution for a knock he took
