I'm not sure I understand all this, but it seems the finals of the Spanish National Beach Soccer competition for clubs is being held in Mazarrón this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday. What's strange (for a town with a myriad of beaches!) is that the competition is being held at the Complejo Deportivo! All free entry. Anyway, the details - Clubs taking part: Playas de Mazarrón, Barbate CF, Cadiz CF, Levante UD, CD Bala Azul, Mentidero Cadiz CD, CF La Nucia, CD Huelva All the clubs seem to be from the Cadiz or Murcia/Valencia areas. Timetable: Friday and Saturday morning....group stage games. (There are 2 groups of 4 teams) Saturday afternoon....fourth placed (18:00) and third placed (19:00) teams play each other. Sunday morning....second placed (10:30) and first placed (12:00) teams play each other.

They ought to play it at the municipal stadium Pedro Mendez Mendez as there’s lots of sand on the pitch there🤣

Looks like they've imported a few truck loads to the Complejo..... And it looks like MazarronHoy will be streaming the games on their Facebook page... www.facebook.com/Mazarronhoy/

I've just noticed there's a music festival in the Port this weekend too.
"The Golden Age of Spanish Pop opened last night the concert cycle of El Muelle Music Festival. Tonight (Friday) from 22:30 hours turn for Demarco Flamenco, El Luiso and Albaicar
On Saturday, July 21, the rockers will occupy the esplanade of the fishing pier to enjoy the songs of Barón Rojo, Obús and Saurom. The appointment will remember the nights of the last editions of Mazarrock, an unmissable national event for rock lovers during the 80s."
Get out ya' leathers!

Saturday morning:
Playas de Mazarron 4-10 Cadiz CF
Mentiderp Cadiz 1-8 Bala Azul
So Bala Azul, with 3 wins out of 3, will play Levante UD (who also got 3 out of 3 in their group) in tomorrow's final.
