Always good to keep an eye on our near neighbours so this thread will keep you in touch with all the up’s and hopefully the many downs of the boys in blue from the port of Mazarrón.
And we start with them nicking a couple of Mazarrón F.C. staff from last season.
Bala Azul have signed Mazarrón F.C manager from last season Juanlu but the real bad news is that they have signed RASO!!!

With them dropping down from the Tercera to Preferente, it wouldn't surprise me if one or two more Maza. old boys join them.

FOR ONCE THE BOOT IS ON THE OTHER FOOT In recent years we at Mazarrón F.C. have complained about the preferential treatment Bala Azul had been getting with regards to ground maintenance. The Playasol stadium always seemed first to get a new lick of paint and the pitch appeared to have been maintained at a higher level than the municipal stadium. But now they are bleating because their pitch is unplayable after a summer of neglect. My heat bleeds for them. Here is what they are saying Since the club maintains that the state of the pitch is not the ideal to play football. The league will begin next September 2nd The playing field of Playasol Stadium is not in a position to play. This is what is manifested from the CD Bala Azul, when fifteen days to start the league. Reported lack of maintenance over the past few months, which has led to the grass being lost completely in some areas of the playing field, leaving it impractical. They point out that they have not watered during the summer and that they have not taken the necessary maintenance tasks. Apparently, the maintenance of the Playasol Stadium went to tender for the years 2017 and 2018 through the Consistory and the club complains about the lack of maintenance by the winning bidder.

Here's a turn up for the books!
Half-time and it's....
Bala Azul 1-0 Fortuna.
Palote again.
Ex-mazarronero Mauro makes it 2-0 and Palote ties it up with his second.
Final score: Bala Azul 3-0 Fortuna.
They've got so many ex-mazarroneros down there we may have to start supporting them!

28th October
Bala Azul 1 v El palmar 1
Bala saved by a 89th minute penalty by Mazarrón old boy Palote.
The result sees them drop into the bottom half of the table 3 points from the drop zone and yet again no manager named on the team sheet?? Is Juanlu still there?

..... and yet again no manager named on the team sheet?? Is Juanlu still there? Checking back, that's the third week he's been 'no presenta'! And the Fed has warned/fined them each of the previous two. Can you remember if there is a limit to the number of games they can be without a manager before the guillotine comes down?

NEW BOSS AT BALA AZUL
Sergio Yúfera returns to the bench of the Bala Azul CD
The new manager will lead the team at Playasol this Saturday against Cartagena FC - UCAM, a match played at 4:30 p.m.
Last Monday, and after losing in Ceutí 3-2, the board of directors of the CD Bala Azul, made official the dismissal of Juanlu as coach of Bala Azul. The bad results during the first 10 games of the Preferential, has seen CD Bala Azul lose 5 matches and is eleventh in the ranking with just 9 points off the promotion promotion playoffs but only 2 points from the relegation places, this has caused Sergio Yúfera to return to the Bala's bench in search of an imminent reaction.
Sergio won the promotion to 3rd Division in the 2016-2017 campaign. This Saturday from 16:30 hours, the leagues top side play at Playasol, and the club expects a coup d'état with Sergio on the bench.
Good luck there pal🤣
