NEXT AWAY GAME
PREFERENTE AUTONOMICA UNICO - game 14
Scheduled for Sunday 03/12/2017
To be played at the POLIDEPORTIVO MPAL. "RAFAEL GARCIA"
C.D. JUVENIA v MAZARRON F.C.
Next up for Mazarrón F.C. is an away trip to C.D. Juvenia a regular opponent against whom we have quite a good record.
LAST WEEKEND
It was a very good weekend for the boys in red last weekend for a few reasons. Firstly it was a fine 2-0 win over lowly Balsicas with Basi adding to his goal tally from the penalty spot keeping him well clear as the leagues top scorer with 15 goals and Dani putting ice on the cake with his fourth of the season late on.
A number of teams positioned around Mazarrón in the table either lost or dropped points drawing their fixtures.
And maybe best of all the game against Balsicas we finished without a yellow/red card being shown to any Mazarrón player which goes well for team selection against Juvenia.
Meanwhile C.D. Juvenia we’re away at Bullense and came away with a brilliant 0-2 win which was a bit of a surprise as at the time of the kickoff Juvenia were one place outside of the drop zone whilst Bullense was one place off the playoffs, it’s a strange old game.
CD JUVENIA
Our opponents play in the Polideportivo Municipal stadium "RAFAEL GARCIA" which is located in the village of Pozo Estrecho and is a stadium which has a natural grass playing surface, a concrete stand down one side of the ground (take a cushion) with a decent canteen and toilet block. There is a bit of a running track around the pitch which gives a bit of distance between supporters and the action taking place on the field of play. Although 50KM from Camposol it will only take 35 minutes to get there as it’s motorways all the way. Pozo is located just off the A30 Cartagena to Murcia motorway and for independent travelers the coordinates for the ground are 37° 42' 18" N, 01° 00' 05" W
CD Juvenia played in the Primera Autonomica last season winning the league and gaining promotion although they are struggling this time out despite last weekends win. Being at home they will be wearing their all blue strip so our boys will be in their usual red.
CURRENT STATS
3rd Mazarrón F.C. P 13 W 8 D 3 L 2 GF 30 GA 19 Points 27
11th CD Juvenia P 13 W 4 D 2 L 7 GF 14 GA 16 Points 14
Mazarron are one of three teams on 27 Points and just one point off the top of the table.
SANCTIONS AND SUSPENSIONS
Mazarrón came through last Sunday’s game without any additional cards so should, barring injuries, have a full squad to pick from less for Mojas who we won’t be seeing for a few weeks yet following his long term suspension for manhandling an official.
CD Juvenia meanwhile pick up 7 yellow cards, one for their manager, so Thursday nights release of sanctions could be interesting.
UPDATES
Match details and information regarding the away supporters coach will be posted on the forum and the Los Amigos Facebook site when available.
