Who'd 'a thought that Real Betis versus Valencia would be the game of the weekend?
65 mins gone and Valencia have the game in the bag at 0-3.
75 mins and our favourite local arbitro Sanchez Martinez makes a real a*** of it by not giving a clear hand ball to Betis.
Betis players stop and Valencia break upfield and fluke the ball in to make it 0-4.
But the Betis crowd never give up....the noise fills the Estadio Benito Villamarin.
AND..........79 mins, Joel Campbell (yes, ex-Arsenal) repays their faith with a (consolation?) goal ... 1-4.
80 mins, Sanabria keeps the faithful singing ... 2-4.
AND..........85 mins, the ex-Barcelona 'wonderboy' Cristian Tello curls in a superb goal ... 3-4.
Two more goals still to come, but it wasn't to be a fairy-tale ending as Simone Zaza and Andreas Pereira punish Betis for leaving a thin defence as they try for the equaliser.
Valencia win 6-3 and move up to second in La Liga.
WOW!
