NEXT HOME GAME and it’s a big one
PREFERENTE AUTONOMICA UNICO - game 7
Sunday 15/10/2017 kickoff 6pm (18:00)
To be played at the ESTADIO MUNICIPAL DE MAZARRON
MAZARRON F.C. v NUESTRO ABARAN C.F.
Even at this early stage of the season Mazarrón FC next fixture is a big game. From playing the bottom two sides in the league the boys in red take on one of the teams who are competing at the top of the table, Nuestro Abaran CF.
WHAT HAPPENED LAST WEEKEND
Mazarron were on their travels to face Albanilla and did a ‘demolition job’ on them winning 2-5 it was just a pity that a lack of a bit of concentration and an ‘iffy’ penalty decision by the referee prevented our boys from keeping a clean sheet. Basi, our hot striker, scored another two goals taking him to joint top of the goal scoring table with 9 goals so far this season. And for the first time in a couple of games we didn’t have anyone sent off. So all in all a good result away from home and a good team performance.
Meanwhile Abaran were entertaining Bullense and took the game with a 2-0 home win with both goals coming late in the second half.
These results put the two teams three places and three points apart in the league so Sunday’s fixture should be a good encounter.
CURRENT STATS
1st MAZARRÓN FC P 6 W 5 D 1 L 0 GF 20 GA 7 Points 16
4th ABARAN CF P 6 W 4 D 1 L 1 GF 10 GA 7 Points 13
SANCTIONS AND SUSPENSIONS
Mazarrón FC will of course be without Andreo and Alfonso who will be serving the second of their four match bans for fighting but besides those naughty boys we should be up to full strength.
Abaran picked up a couple of bookings last weekend but at this time I can see any of their players being suspended. But and update on sanctions will be posted here after they are released on Thursday.
