Is this the best footie news story of the holiday season?
"Today's attendance is 2,812 including 2,760 away fans."
It's not the sort of announcement you would expect towards the end of a match, but Truro City's 3-1 'home' loss against Torquay United was not your normal West Country derby.
Truro have been groundsharing with Torquay this season in National League South - the sixth tier of English football - after planning to redevelop their Treyew Road ground in Cornwall; which is 100 miles away.

DIRTY LEEDS LIVE UP TO THEIR REPUTATION
Derby County manager Frank Lampard described Marcelo Bielsa's pre-match conduct as "unethical" after Leeds United beat the Rams to go five points clear at the top of the Championship.
Whites boss Bielsa admitted sending a member of his staff to watch Derby train on Thursday, a story that dominated the build-up to the game and one the Football Association is now investigating.

ARE WE SURPRISED?
Dirty Leeds at it again, nothing changes
The EFL has launched a formal investigation after Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa’s admission that he instructed a member of staff to spy on a Derby training session.
Bielsa admitted before Friday night’s 2-0 win over Derby that he was responsible for sending the staff member to watch the Rams training on Thursday.

AND THE PLOT THICKENS
Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has admitted spying on all of his team’s Championship rivals – including Nottingham Forest.
The Argentine held an impromptu press conference today, amid the “spygate” controversy surrounding the Whites’ recent clash with Derby County.
Bielsa admitted last Friday that he was responsible for sending a member of club staff to watch the Rams training prior to the match between the two teams that night.
RELEGATE THEM AS AN EXAMPLE TO OTHER CHEATS!

The 'Bees' of the National League hold the 'Bees' of the Championship to a 3-3 draw.
With Lionel Messi scoring the final equaliser for Barnet.
Not really.....but Dan Sparkes stupendous free kick was straight out of the Messi play book.
Brilliant game from two teams that know each other well although they are three leagues apart.
'Mad Dog' Martin Allen has managed both teams - FIVE times at Barnet.
And Tony Currie's nephew, Darren, will be in the papers tomorrow for taking Barnet through two great cup ties with Championship teams having beaten Tony's Sheffield United in the last round.

And it will all come to a shuddering halt on Saturday when they play the mighty Forest. COYR Looks like a good game - shame about the score! We hit the post and had a marginal offside. And, with 70% possession, and 21 to 9 shots, we should have got the goals. Mind you, you had to rely on a Brentford old boy (Grabban) to help you out.

ARE NORWICH TAKING LEEDS TITLE AS THE ‘DIRTY TEAM?’
Ipswich manager Paul Lambert has accused Norwich of a “lack of class” and insists he has no regrets at being sent off during the 3-0 defeat at his former club on Sunday.
Lambert was given a red card on the stroke of half-time, when he reacted angrily and had to be restrained by a police officer as a brawl broke out between the two teams, and he had an angry exchange with some of Norwich’s backroom staff.
The 49-year-old’s relationship with the club he left in 2012 has long been strained and he told Ipswich’s official website: “It was a lack of class on their behalf; I’ve never been involved in anything like that at all.
“Some of the things that were said were totally out of order, and I’ll fight the corner of this football club.
“There were things that shouldn’t have happened, not through our doing.
“We played a really good game without getting the reward, and that’s been the story of our time here. Regarding what I saw and what I’ve heard, I won’t let this club be bullied by anyone.”

Unfortunately Mr Lambert made himself look an idiot and if he behaved like the way he did in front of the Norfolk constabulary anywhere but on the touchline he would have spent the night in the cells to cool off. If you watch the incident you will see the current Norwich manager was as cool as Farke. The tackle that started the incident could have easily been a straight red so Ipswich should be thankful he only got a yellow and to read today Ipswich are making an official complaint against the Norwich steward for manhandling Mr Lambert is ridiculous .Sir Bobby Robson would be turning in his grave at the shambles Ipswich have become.

Those of you of a certain age will well remember Luther Blissett's time at Watford. His goal scoring saw them promoted to the (old) First Division for the first time where they finished as runners up in their first season. His success saw him poached by A.C. Milan where he was an immediate flop! Returning to Watford after one season for half price.
Well, his nephew, Nathan, today turned on the style with a hat-trick for Solihull Moors which saw them jump to the top of the national League.

And by a strange quirk of the fixture lists, The Moors today played host to The Bees!
Nathan Blissett was on the score-sheet again, but the locals could only take one point.
SOLIHULL MOORS 2-2 BARNET
But with Leyton Orient surprisingly losing at home, The Moors stretch their lead at the top.

Who is Brentford Les? Are Brentford Les and Solihull Moors Les one and the same? Is it a bit like Notts Forest Steve and Golden State Warrior Steve? Come on we are not Spanish one team only.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH, ONLY A POINTS DEDUCTION WILL STOP CLUBS MISBEHAVING
Championship promotion hopefuls Leeds United have been fined £200,000 by the English Football League for watching opponents train before matches.
A member of Leeds' staff was found acting suspiciously outside Derby's training ground before the fixture between the two sides on 10 January.
Boss Marcelo Bielsa said he had sent a member of staff to watch every team they have played this season train.
The EFL found Leeds breached rules over treating teams with "good faith".
