Have you read his Wiki entry??? Messi's not in his league!
On the other hand Messi scored as many league goals this season BY MARCH as Ranger has done in his whole EIGHT YEARS senior career (22)! Another 'striker' not worthy of the description.
"Legal history
In 2007, at the age of 15, he was sentenced to 11 weeks in a Young Offenders Institute after being convicted of participating in street robbery in Muswell Hill, London.
In May 2011 Ranger was questioned by Newcastle after posing with a replica gun in a photograph.
On 27 August 2011 he was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a man in Newcastle city centre, leaving the victim unconscious in the street. Ranger was subsequently dropped to Newcastle United's reserve team. He was found not guilty of the charge in October 2012.
In October 2011 he was charged with being drunk and disorderly in Newcastle's Cathedral Square. The charge came only days after Ranger had been reinstated to Newcastle United's first-team training after a three-month exile in the club's reserves.
In March 2012, he was fined by The FA for making homophobic comments on social networking website Twitter.
In the early hours of 23 September 2012, police were called to a house in Enfield, north London after reports of a disturbance. The front door of the property was badly damaged and Ranger was arrested at the scene and later charged with criminal damage. The charge against Ranger was dropped that November after the court accepted his explanation that he had damaged the door after fearing his girlfriend was being kidnapped.
On 25 January 2013, Ranger was arrested on suspicion of rape in a Newcastle hotel room. In connection with the same alleged offence, Ranger was charged with rape on 8 July 2013. On 4 March 2014 he was cleared of the charge at Newcastle Crown Court.
On 14 March 2013, Ranger was charged with common assault after an incident in Newcastle city centre.
On 23 March 2014, Ranger was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a taxi in Liverpool. He later pleaded guilty to criminal damage and was fined £1,000 and was ordered to pay compensation to the taxi driver for breaking a window. Ranger said that he was enraged by being called a rapist by the driver.
On 28 April 2014 Ranger was charged with criminal damage after an incident at a block of flats in Swindon on 13 April. He was later fined for damage to the door of his flat in relation to this incident which was captured on CCTV, in an incident where he additionally appeared to strike his female companion three times on the face.
In May 2014, Ranger was found not guilty of being drunk in charge of his vehicle, after being found asleep in the driver's seat of his car on the M4 motorway.
In December 2016, Ranger was charged with conspiracy to defraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering, in respect of offences alleged to have been committed in February 2015. In January 2017, he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud at Wood Green Crown Court. On 23 May 2017, he was sentenced to eight months in prison."

Feb 16th.
Four senior West Brom players were interviewed by police after allegedly stealing a taxi outside a fast-food restaurant in Barcelona on Thursday.
Catalonia police told BBC Sport the players - Jonny Evans, Gareth Barry, Jake Livermore and Boaz Myhill - were interviewed but not arrested after the incident in the early hours.
Mossos d'Esquadra - the Catalan regional police force - said the four players involved wanted to go out in Barcelona, but found everything closed so took a taxi to a fast-food restaurant.
When they left, at approximately 05:30, it is alleged they took the taxi and drove back to their hotel - without the driver.
Police were alerted by the hotel and taxi driver, who was reunited with his vehicle at about 08:00. (BBC News)

AND IT GETS BLACKER FOR THE BLACK CATS.
FREE FOOTBALL CLUB ANYONE?
Owner Ellis Short is prepared to give Sunderland away for free if a buyer can be found to take on the Championship club's substantial debt.
Short has said he is open to offers for the relegation-threatened club, but has failed to find a buyer.
Reports had said the American would accept £50m for his shares.
But he is now ready to sell for nothing as long as any new owner takes on debts which stood, according to the last published figures in 2016, at £137.3m.
It marks a stunning fall in value with Short believed to have set an asking price of £170m as recently as late 2016, when the club was still in the Premier League.

THE BAGGIES HAVE BIG PROBLEMS
West Brom chief executive Mark Jenkins says he has been "shocked" at the state of the Premier League side's finances since returning to The Hawthorns.
Jenkins said "there's no more money for wages" and that the club will need its first overdraft in more that 10 years.
The club look set to be relegated from the top flight as they are 10 points from safety with seven games left.
"We have wages, transfer and loan fees at record levels and yet find ourselves in this position," said Jenkins.
And there is the question of the manager, rough times are ahead with relegation an almost certainty now.

IS IT GETTING WORSE AT THE BLACK CATS?
Sunderland owner Ellis Short has spoken with club legend Niall Quinn about the possibility of a consortium taking over, BBC Newcastle reports.
Quinn, who played for, managed and was chairman at the Black Cats, is fronting the consortium backed by unnamed Irish and north east businessmen.
It is believed Short would ensure the club does not enter administration by funding the off-field business.
The consortium then would have two years to build the football side.
Other debts will be serviced by Premier League parachute payments following their relegation from the top flight last season.

JUST CAN’T STOP LAUGHING
On this day in 2008...
Derby County were relegated from the Premier League with a record low total of 11 points.
One win, eight draws and 29 losses. Ouch! 👎

ARE DERBY ‘CHOCKING’ ON THE RUN IN TO THE END OF THE SEASON YET AGAIN?
For the fourth season in a row the lamb molesters are stuttering in the league. A certain automatic promotion place has now gone and they are in the playoffs on goal difference only.
Will we see another sheep herding manager get push into the ‘sheep dip’ before the end of the season?
I see that the ‘Wally with the brolly’ is still available for a third go🤣
Relegation certainties, Sunderland, exploited defensive errors by feeble Derby County FC to win at Pride Park and move off the bottom of the Championship.

STILL CHOCKING
For the first time since November, Derby County fell outside the Championship’s top six with a crushing 3-1 defeat at Burton Albion, one which left manager Gary Rowett less than impressed.
Rowett, at one stage in the game threw his water bottle to the floor in disgust after watching his side concede at the Pirelli Stadium to leave their promotion hopes hanging in the balance.
“Can’t stop laughing” 🤣

VILLA IN THE BROWN SMELLY STUFF 💩💩💩
Aston Villa spent BIG this season in an effort to gain promotion but have just been beaten 0-1 by Fulham and now the chickens will come home to roost.
Villa have broken all the rules with regard to FFP and now should face a huge fine and a transfer embargo next season.
Look out for a huge clear out of players and a team heading south. 😂🤣😀
