Stuart Pearce will take over as Nottingham Forest manager on a two-year contract on 1 July.
“The honour of coming back into this club is massive but what I have done here as a player is irrelevant”
The ex-Forest captain initially turned down the job for family reasons but had a change of heart and will replace caretaker-boss Gary Brazil next season.
He will take over from Brazil, who has been in charge for the last two games following the sacking of former boss Billy Davies." (BBC Sport)

WHO'S NEXT UP FOR THE CHOP?? Tranmere Rovers announce they will "review the position" of manager Ronnie Moore after he admitted breaching Football Association betting rules. Moore, 61, was suspended by the League One club and replaced by assistant John McMahon on 17 February after the FA began an investigation. AND A comment from Massimo Cellino The Cagliari and now Leeds United owner, who is looking to sell the Italian club, said he will give Leeds manager Brian McDermott some time before deciding on the 53-year-old's future. When Cellino's deal to take the majority shareholding of Leeds from GFH Capital was confirmed in January, McDermott was sacked, only to be reinstated a day later. Leeds have lost six of their last seven matches. "I want to give Brian an opportunity to find out if he is good or not and if he is good then I am glad and if he is not then I will have to change. But I hope not," he said. "I will give him until the end of the season for me to get to know Brian and the players better. There is no rush.

TAXI FOR MR MOYES??? Manchester United 'no comment' on boss rumours
Manchester United are offering no comment on reports that David Moyes is set to be sacked as manager.
Various newspapers have claimed the club will dispense with the Scot's services as early as this week following a poor season. However, the club declined to comment when contacted by BBC Sport.
Watch out for the 'vote of confidence'

Interesting to note that Moyes had the THIRD highest win percentage (50%) of all Man Utd managers!!!
Beaten only by AF (60.4%) and a gentleman called Ernest Mangnall (54.2%) who was there between 1903-12.
Busby (49.4%) and Atkinson (48.4%) were next.

Garry Monk has been appointed Swansea City manager on a permanent basis.
Monk took the reins temporarily - under the title of head coach - after Michael Laudrup was sacked in February.
The 35-year-old, who has guided the club to Premier League safety with two games to spare, has been given a three-year contract and will be assisted by current coach Josep Clotet.
Martin Foyle is the new manager of Conference Premier side Southport.
The 51-year-old replaces John Coleman, who left the Sandgrounders two days after the end of the season.
Foyle, who left financially-troubled Hereford in March, also had spells in charge of Port Vale and York City.
(Not English I know, but interesting nevertheless!)
Portugal's Helena Costa is to be the highest-profile female manager of a European men's team after being named head coach of Clermont Foot in France.
Costa, a former scout for Scottish Premiership side Celtic, has coached the Iran women's team since 2012.
The 36-year-old, who has also coached Benfica's male youth teams and the Qatar women's side, will join Clermont officially at the end of the season. She will replace former Montpellier midfielder Regis Brouard, whose contract as head coach expires at the end of the season.
The club are 14th in the French second-tier with two matches to play.

Former Scotland midfielder Barry Ferguson is leaving Blackpool after a spell as caretaker player-manager, the club has confirmed. The news comes the day after Dundee United denied the Seasiders permission to speak to their manager, the former Scotland defender Jackie McNamara. Ferguson took charge of Blackpool in January after Paul Ince's dismissal. While they only won three out of 20 games under the 36-year-old, they did avoid relegation by two points. But it is understood that Ferguson, who spent most of his playing career with Rangers, and chairman Karl Oyston did not see eye to eye.

Tenerife - relegated & sacked Ejido - sacked Rayo Vallecano - promotion then sacked! Real Betis - 'relieved of duties' with them adrift at the bottom of La Liga! (Didn't save them from relegation tho'). WBA - 14th when he joined...17th when he left!
