NEXT AND FINAL GAME OF 2015
CD BULLENSE v MAZARRON FC
A bit of a suprise here but the federation have already published the time and date for out next fixture.
They are said the following and it has been confirmed by Jose as being correct.
CD Bullense v Mazarron FC
kickoff 5pm (17.00)
Sunday 13th December 2015
It's been a while since we last played CD Bullense as they have maintained their place in the Preferente division whilst Mazarron FC were relegated.
It was the 2010/11 season the last time we met with Bullense winning 2-1 at there place, one of their goals was scored as our goalkeeper laid on the pitch injured by one of their players and our keeper never recovered from that dastardly deed, whilst a 1-1 draw was the result of the return leg in Mazarron.
Bullense maintained their place last season in the Preferente division, finishing in 13th place. Last weekend they were away at CD Algar and came away with a bloody nose and a 3-1 defeat even though they played a proportion of the game against 10 men. This result has put them in 13th place out of the 18 teams in our league, more on comparative statistics later.
From memory CD Bullense play in a nice but tight stadium which has a natural grass surface, I hope it remains dry for this game as their pitches drainage wasn't to good when we were last there with areas of mud which was likened to a Hippo's wallowing hole. There is the usual adequate toilet facilities and a canteen.
The distance to the CD Bullense ground is some 87KM which will take just under an hour to travel. The stadium is called the "NICOLÁS DE LAS PEÑAS" (which sounds a bit rude) and for the independent traveller here are the coordinates, 38° 02' 43" N, 01° 40' 31" W
The ground is situated in the northern suburbs of Bullas which is of course very famous for its wine production. We should travel north from Mazarron on the motorway towards Murcia city, come off at Alcantarilla, drive passed Mula before reaching Bullas but who knows with these coach drivers. Bullas is lovely little town which has a sizeable ex pat UK population.
Details of the away coach and how to obtain coach tickets will be posted on the forum and Los amigos Facebook page as soon as they are available. Please support the way coach if you can.
Bullense wear a red and white striped home strip with black shorts so expect Mazarron FC to be in BLUE for this game. The main threat from Bullense come from FERNANDO JOSE ESPIN JIMENEZ who has 6 goals so far this season, but after him their next top scorer has but 2 goals against his name, so here's hoping Fernando's in his hideaway that day.
CURRENT STATS
3rd MAZARRON F.C. P 14 W 7 D 3 L 4 GF 25 GA 20 Points 24
13th C.D. BULLENSE P 14 W 5 D 3 L 6 GF 20 GA 27 Points 18
This is the last game in 2015 for our lads so please consider having a great day out in Bullas and who knows we could finish the year in second place in the league. What a great trip just before the festive period.

What a weekend this will be!
Saturday will see a top-of-the-table clash for the Juveniles and on Sunday there's this great trip up to Bullas.
I shall be breaking open a bottle of my 2013 Castillo de Bullas Monastrell (14%) to cheer you all on.
With only SIX points separating 2nd from 12th in the table, it's essential our lads keep picking up the points.

FINAL SCORE
CD BULLENSE 0 MAZARRON FC 4
Besides a 10 minute period at the start of the second half this was Mazarrons game.
It started with a Jaun Andreo (Sam) scoring from a dead ball situation with his trusty head after 13 minutes.
A number of chances were then wasted before Silvero, who had replaced an injured Jose, ended a fantastic move initiated by Palote who shifted the ball to Willi who's shot was deflected out to Silvero who rolled the ball into an empty net on the stroke of half time.
Following Bullenses 10 minute spell Lorca and Juan Andreo stitched up the back row and from a ball out of defence found Palote who's screamer bulged the Bullense net.
The scoring was completed by the outstanding Willi who hit one from out side of the box, the ball took a slight deflection and finished up in the back of the net.
After that Mazarron just toyed with the home side, keeping a clean sheet and saw the game home.
MOTM Juan Andreo.

With Minerva only drawing at Cieza, Mazarrón are now clear in third - one point better than Totana.
Cieza may be in a bit more trouble after what looks to have been a feisty game! Remember also, that Minerva recently complained about the biased refereeing of a game. Maybe the Refs trade union are responding!

So this game was actually at Abaran's 'Los Colonias' ground. The article also suggests the Cieza fans haven't learnt anything! "On Sunday, before about 400 spectators, it has disputed the 15th day of the Regional Preferente between Cieza and SFC Minerva on the football field of Abarán "Las Colonias". Because the local team continues to have punishment and cannot play in Cieza, and the truth, after seeing the aggressive and disrespectful behavior of most Ciezan supporters, with all that were there, Alumbreños fans, coaches, players, refereeing trio and myself, explains to me the penalty, so I want to acknowledge the presence of the three pairs of the Guardia Civil who have been in the stands."
