NEXT GAME
and what a corker
MAZARRÓN F.C. v U.D. LOS GARRES
4.30pm (16.30) Sunday 6th December
More information about this crunch game as soon as we get them
The next home game pitched 6th placed Los Garres against our boys who are currently 7th
All that divides these two teams is that Los Garres have conceded 2 fewer goals than Mazarron.
Everything else is identical, something has to give.
Not a game to miss and last weekend they gave CD Algar a hammering 5 - 0 so they are on top form.

Watch out for No. 8. His name is Javi Bicicletas!

SUSPENSIONS
Mazarron FC have a full deck of cards whilst Los Garres will be without ALEJANDRO CAMPILLO MANZANERA.
I can't see any goals recorded against his name so his position in mid field isn't as a scoring midfield dynamo.

La Hoya come out on top against Totana in a high scoring game 4-3.
This means La Hoya (21pts GD6) go above Mazarrón (21pts GD4) today, but a Mazarrón win tomorrow would see us go above Totana - who currently sit in third spot on 23pts!

FINAL SCORE
MAZARRON FC 3 LOS GARRES 2
Footballs a funny old game, and today's match was no different.
On a lovely day with a good crowd Mazarron took the game to their opponents from the off creating numerous chances and dominating possession. But it was the visitors who took the lead when, after losing a simple defensive ball in the box, Mounir proceeded to push his oppenent to the ground for an obvious penalty which was converted, silly boy.
Mazarron equalised after the break with a slick moved finishing in Juanito sliding the ball past the "Peter Crouch" tall Los Garres keeper.
By this time Willi had joined the fray and was terrorising the visitors defence from first the left wing, then the right and sometimes through the middle, they just couldn't contain him. And It was from one of his surging left wing run with a fierce cross across the box that lead to the second Mazarron goal as a defender couldn't get out of the way and finish the move with an "own goal"
Palote then contrived to miss two simple open goal opportunities before the home side were made to pay.
From a twice taken free kick on the right an opponent forward was given a free header to draw the scores level.
Mazarron surged forward again and at last Palote found the back of the net to give the home side a deserved 3-2 lead which they held to the end.
As a footnote, most of the visiting side received yellow cards and both their manager and assistant manager were sent to the stands.
Great game which should have led to a more convincing win for Mazarron FC

NICE TEAM THAT UD LOS GARRES
If you have time go to the Los amigos Facebook site and have a look at the latest photos of the game.
you'll see the last one is of me presenting Jose with his man of the match bottle. If you look closely at that picture you will see his blackened right eye and bruised left cheek. Jose told me that it was caused by an elbow in his face during the game, that's why he was subbed.
Well that was one way to stop our top scorer.
Nice team that UD Los Garres.
