CLUB PRESIDENT CONFIRMS SUNDAYS GAME AND REFLECTS ON THE PREVIOUS MATCH AT CIEZA
He says:-
THE GAME IS ON SUNDAY, AT 11.30 IN THE MUNICIPAL STADIUM .
THE TEAM OF MONTECASILLAS DID NOT WANT TO HELP US TO PLAY SATURDAY & WE DO NOT HAVE ANOTHER OPTION.
THE PAST MEETING AGAINST CIEZA WE WERE STOLEN OF TWO POINTS BY THE REF WHO WAS VERY VERY BAD, AND AGAINST MAZARRON.
TO THE CIEZA HE GAVE A GOAL WHICH WAS OFFSIDE AND OTHER OF NONEXISTENT PENALTY.
AND THEY DIDN'T GIVE OUR FORWARDS TWO PENALTIES WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN. BUT THE TEAM IS VERY SOLID AND I BELIEVE THAT WE ARE GOING TO GAIN MANY VICTORIES THIS SEASON.

SUSPENSIONS AND SANCTIONS
At the moment Mazarron FC are recorded as having no suspensions for this weekends game although Palote left the field early last weekend, strange. It could well change tomorrow when the consolidated sanctions are released.
Meanwhile Montecasillas will be without their second top scorer in JOSE FRANCISCO SANCHEZ DIAZ.

I TOLD YOU IT COULD CHANGE
The federation has updated its sanctions/suspensions web page following last weekends game and have now included Palote on the list of players suspended for this weekends fixtures.
He receives a one match ban.

Not good news I'm afraid!
MAZARRON F.C. 1 - 2 MONTECASILLAS F.C.
Mazarron Goal: JUAN ANDREO MULA (1)
Montecasillas had a man sent off too.
EDIT: Mazarrón slip to 9th.
But, if we had won, we would be in 4th place! It's tight this season.

MATCH REPORT Compiled by Dave Capper
MAZARRON FC 1 MONTECASILLAS FC 2
Mazarron's run of seven games without defeat ended with a 2-1 home defeat against Montecasillas. Mazarron had Paco making his first appearance of the season in goal and he was soon under pressure as the away team got quickly into their stride.
The wind was proving troublesome for Mazarron who could hardly get the ball out of their half and it was no surprise when Montecasillas took the lead. A long ball down the right saw Ismael running on before firing past Paco into the net. A Montecasillas free kick was just over the bar before Mazarron managed their first shot when Mounir's pass found Jose but Mazarron's leading scorer shot wide. Mazarron's passing was poor and all 50/50 balls were being won by Montecasillas.
A mistake by Alberto almost let in Montecasillas for a second goal but Mazarron managed to clear the danger at the last second. The second half began in a similar vein with Paco being kept busy in the Mazarron goal. A number of substitutions by the home team did not have any obvious impact and they were unable to mount any serious threat on the Montecasillas goal.
A rare Mazarron free kick came to nothing before the visitors went further ahead in the 75th minute. Another right wing move saw Mazarron defending poorly and Alejandro forced the ball home for a deserved second goal. Montecasillas were dominating play but an excellent ball by substitute Hafid saw Jose racing through before being brought down by the visiting keeper.
A penalty was awarded but, unlike last week's game, the keeper was sent off. Juan Andreo waited patiently to take the spot kick and sent the substitute goalkeeper the wrong way to reduce the arrears.
Mazarron were unable to put any further pressure of substance on the Montecasillas goal before the referee signalled the end of the game. The defeat saw Mazarron drop to ninth in the league but still only a point off a play-off spot.
Team: Paco; Juanma (Jesus); Alberto; Juan Andreo; Mounir; Juanlu (Champi); Santi (Enrique); Cristian (Alfonso); Juanito; Jose; Silverio (Hafid)
Man of the Match: Santi
