Next up for Mazarrón FC is a tasty derby against Olimpico Totana and the match details are:-
MAZARRÓN F.C. v OLIMPICO DE TOTANA
Kickoff 6pm (18.00) Sunday 20th September 2015
Totana only just missed out on promotion last season, finishing 5th in the Preferente division.
They have started out this season obviously looking for an automatic berth with two wins from two games scoring 7 goals and only conceding one.
Last weekend they were at home against CD Algar and rolled them over 4-0
Meanwhile Mazarron must feel unlucky to have only gathered one point from their two outings with performances which deserved a better return.
Like Mazarron, Totana must be concerned at the amount of yellow cards being dished out by officials at the start of this season with Mazarron already having received 7 and Totana 5. Is this a new crack down by the federation or is there a big electricity bill to pay?
No sanctions or suspensions for either team.

FINAL SCORE
MAZARRON FC 1 OLIPICO TOTANA 3
Some one once sad that football was a strange old game, they weren't wrong.
Totana, who I predict will be vying for promotion this season, are a very tall and well disciplined team who are well drilled. They have been together for a few seasons and it showed.
Mazarron on the other hand are still trying to get to know each other the team having only just been put together.
Totana came out of the blocks like a steam train and by the clock had shown 20 mins they were 0-3 up and we were dreading the final score.
But slow, slowly Mazarron came back into the game and sealed up their leaky defence.
By by the second half there was only going to be one team who would score and Mazarron pulled a goal back but despite constant pressure could not bring the teams closer.
Ah well, there's always next week.
Mazarron FC goal scorer was JOSE LUIS BAZAN FERREIRA
We had 4 players booked.
Man of the match was Mounir
Look out here for the Mach report as soon as it's available.

Totana actually have 8 new players and a new manager from the set up of last season. Still it was a good game to watch.

Match report by Dave Capper
MAZARRON FC 1 OLIMPICO DE TOTANA 3
Three goals in the first eighteen minutes were enough to secure the points for a Totana side which went to the top of the league with this victory.
Although Mazarron fought back well in the second half and pulled a goal back through Jose, Totana were stronger and more composed on the ball for most of the game.
Mazarron's defence was at sixes and sevens in the early stages and by the time they had pulled themselves together with the help of a couple of positional changes they were three goals down. Totana took the lead after just 4 minutes when a fierce shot was deflected onto the post by Antonio but a visiting forward was on hand to hit home the rebound.
It was 2-0 after nine minutes when a right wing cross was headed past Antonio and the game was virtually out of Mazarron's reach nine minutes later when Antonio again made a good block only for the rebound to be fired home.
Mazarron's first effort came after 39 minutes when Rollon's shot was saved by the Totana keeper after excellent interplay between him and Santi. Then Mounir found Cristian whose long range effort was easily saved.
Mazarron brought on Silverio and Champi at the start of the second half and came more into the game with some penetrating attacks down the right wing. After 49 minutes a Champi free kick was headed just wide by Jose but 4 minutes later the same combination saw Jose rise to head the ball home to reduce the arrears.
Mazarron reverted to a back three formation and Totana were now reduced to sporadic breakaways but always looked dangerous and Juan Andreo had to clear off the line when Antonio was drawn out of his goal. Juanito made an excellent run down the left for Mazarron but his cross was cleared and despite more Mazarron pressure in the closing stages they were unable to carve out any clear cut chances. Although it is still very early in the season the warning signs are there for Mazarron's new look team.
Team: Antonio; Juanma; Mounir (Juanillo); Juan Andreo (Antonio); Juan Fran; Juanlu; Rollon (Champi); Cristian (Silverio); Juanito; Santi (Enrique); Jose
Man of the Match; Mounir
