Today saw qualifying games for the finals of the U17 and U19 European Championships.
U17
Romania 1-2 England ... this was the third game in the group and the result sees England qualify for the finals with a 100% record. The finals are in Bulgaria in May and will comprise 16 teams.
U19
England 3-2 Denmark ... this was the first game in the group which also contains Azerbaijan and France. Group winners progress to the finals in Greece in June.

U17 ... England's group of four for the finals in Bulgaria is Republic of Ireland, Netherlands, Italy, England (holders). Matches start on 6/7 May. The top two clubs in each group go forward to a knock-out competition. (England beat Netherlands to win the championship last year.)
U19 ... England went on to beat Azerbaijan (1-0) but lost out against France (1-2). France won all their games and topped the group. England won't be at the finals in Greece in June.

U17...England have 4 points from two games and face Ireland on Wednesday needing at least a point to be sure of progressing to the knock-out stage.
EDIT (16/5):
Update.....England got their points (3) and faced Russia in the first round KO....losing 0-1.
EDIT (22/5):
Final.....France 4-1 Germany.

U21...doing as well as the rest!
England 0-1 Portugal.

That's better (just!).
Sweden 0-1 England (85th minute!)
If England beat Italy on Wednesday, they'll go through to the KO stage (semi-finals).
