But a BIG reverse this week as Real Murcia went down 4-1 in Oviedo. This was a top-of-the-table event and Oviedo now replace RM in pole position. Both have the same points but goal difference favours Oviedo.....+20 against +7.

Both Real Murcia and Oviedo pick up 3 points this week so the top table stays the same.

...and, this week, they both lose! Logroñés now join them on 31 points.

Real Murcia can only draw at home against mid-table Burgos but move one point clear. Oviedo and Logroñés have yet to play.
EDIT:
Oviedo won but Logroñés lost so Murcia slip two points behind.

And they slipped further behind this week after losing at Leonesa. Oviedo and Logroñés both won so Murcia are now down in 4th place, 5 points off the lead!

Jesus Samper, that's him above, had a busy day at the office today. He told the Real Murcia Shareholders' Meeting that he was claiming 25 million euros from the LFP, who run the top two leagues, for relegating the club out to Segunda B. He also reported that a creditors agreement had been reached to reduce the 30 million club liabilities by 50% and pay them over the next 5 years. THAT'S some result! The agreement apparently requires a greater settlement if the club improves its standing in the leagues.

And they slipped further behind this week after losing at Leonesa. Oviedo and Logroñés both won so Murcia are now down in 4th place, 5 points off the lead! And it's all going wrong over there..................... Another draw for Murcia whilst Oviedo keep on winning. 7 points adrift now and only just hanging on to a play-off place.

At least Murcia picked up 3 points this weekend - but so did Oviedo. The gap remains at 7 points.

Another defeat for Real Murcia now leaves them only one point inside the play-off places.

A much better week with a welcome 3 points for Real Murcia. And, with 2 of the other 3 teams in the top four losing, it gives them a bit more security in the play off places. But still 8 points away from the coveted top spot with its easier route to promotion.

The top two win again - Murcia 2-0 at Celta 'B'. So the gap stays 8 points.

SEGUNDA B - GROUP 1
A good weekend for Murcia. They win, but Oviedo only draw. Gap down to 6 points.

Real Murcia do what they have to do with a 2-0 win away at CD Lealtad - near Gijon. Oviedo play later - Sunday.
EDIT:...easy win for Oviedo, so no change at the top.

THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE WORSE OFF THAN YOU.
Your heart has just got to go out to Bala Azul Alevin "A" side, their current stats read
Played 15 won 0 Drawn 0 Lost 15 Goals for 3 Goals against 169 Points 0
And they are only half way through the season.
They lost 11-0 away in Cartagena yesterday.

Sunday 15th - Both Real Murcia and Oviedo win their home games. So it's still a 6 point gap at the top.
