NEXT GAME
MAZARRON F.C. v BLANCA TELECANAL 2
Kickoff 4pm (16.00)
Saturday 22nd November
A couple of weeks ago I would have said that this would have been a certain 3 points as Blanca had no wins in their first 9 games but have turned the corner and have won their their last two outings, although they were against the current two bottom sides in the league.
Blanca Telecanal 2 were one of the sides involved in the ridiculous situation at the end of last season and the beginning of the 2014-15 season when sides were promoted, due to other teams folding, from a position in the segunda where they weren't entitled to be promoted. In Blanca's case they finished in 14th position and were promoted which makes, IMHO, a mockery of promotion and relegation. And you wonder why they are struggling.
CURRENT STATS:
5 - MAZARRON F.C. P 11 W 5 D 3 L 3 GF 16 GA 11 Points 18 15 - BLANCA TELECANAL "2" P 11 W 2 D 2 L 7 GF 9 GA 27 Points 8
Thier current top scorer is DARIO MOLINA AYALA with 4 goals but after him................

Missing for Mazarron FC will be:
Manu, one match for arguing with the ref.
Enrique, 5th yellow card received in last weekends game = one match ban.
Israel: The second of his two game suspension.
As far as I can see Blanca have one player suspended who doesn't have a goal to his name so far this season, a defender?
INJURED:
CARRASCO...........1 week ANTONIO JOSE....1 week CHEMA.................2 weeks
Pablo, the juvenile keeper will cover in goal and Jose had drafted in mid fielder Andreo from the juveniles to boost squad numbers.

MAZARRON FC 4 BLANCA TELECANAL 1
Mazarron continued their push for promotion with an emphatic 4-1 home victory over Blanca Telecanal.
Despite being without three players through suspension and another three through injury, Mazarron generally dominated the game although a few defensive lapses allowed Blanca Telecana some good opportunities which they failed to take mainly through excellent work by Mazarron’s goalkeeper, Conejo.
Mazarron took the lead after 12 minutes when Tolo found space on the right. After beating two men his shot rebounded off the post to Diego who tapped the ball home from two yards.
Mazarron continued to press forward but Conejo had to be alert and raced off his line twice in quick succession to thwart breakaways from Blanca Telecanal.
At the other end Tolo was causing all sorts of problems for the visitors’ defence. He broke clear only to see his shot saved and then, after another mazy run, appeared to be brought down in the penalty area but the referee waved play on.
For the second half Cristian replaced Juanillo for Mazarron and was immediately in the action when he hit a fierce shot goalwards from 25 yards which appeared to hit a defender on the arm before being diverted for a corner. From the flag kick Dani forced the ball over the line to make it 2-0.
It was all Mazarron at this stage and a free kick from Alfonso was headed on by Tolo towards Diego but his shot at the far post only found the side netting. Tolo again burst clear but saw his shot saved by the feet of the Blanca Telecanal’s keeper. The visitors should have reduced the arrears in the 61st minute when a long ball saw their striker racing through but he shot wide off the post with only Conejo to beat.
Two minutes later they were awarded a penalty when Mateo and Conejo collided with one of the Blanca forwards but Conejo dived to his right to make an excellent save from the spot kick. Mazarron made them pay for this miss with the best goal of the game after 67 minutes. Andreo’s diagonal ball found Cristian racing towards the corner on the right. Cristian turned and hit a superb looping shot over the keeper’s head and into the top of the net to make it 3-0.
Tolo was unlucky again when he swivelled to hit a fierce left foot shot which was tipped around the post by the Blanca keeper but the visitors reduced the arrears after 77 minutes when Carlos Fernandez was allowed to run through and place his shot past Conejo into the corner of the net.
Mazarron replied almost immediately when substitute Stalin’s excellent cross saw Tolo hit a first time shot into the roof of the net to make the final score 4-1.
Man of the Match: Conejo
