And now he adds the Scottish League Challenge Cup for the first time to Rangers' trophy cabinet.
Up next will be an Old Firm contest next Sunday against Celtic in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.
To win that competition would give Rangers an unprecedented 'treble' for the season.

Mark warburton will get it Rangers have had a good season but IMO it's not the kind of treble they would liked to have won that's if the beat Hibs in Scottish cup final.
I have friends who agree with me as the Petro cup they won is for the lower league teams but I suppose a cup is a cup?

WATCH OUT SCOTLAND, JOEY'S COMING NORTH
Joey Barton has agreed terms to move to Rangers and could formally sign as a free agent within the next 24 hours.
Barton had offers from the Ibrox side and his current club Burnley - but chose to move to Glasgow after visiting Rangers' Auchenhowie training ground.
In a series of cryptic tweets on Monday, he hinted he had decided to join the Scottish Championship winners.
The 33-year-old midfielder was named player of the year as Burnley were promoted to the Premier League.
The former Manchester City, Newcastle, QPR and Marseille player, who has one England cap, spoke with Rangers manager Mark Warburton on his visit to Auchenhowie nine days ago.

Bit hard to say Brendan is a Liverpool reject was a whisker away from winning your top division not so long ago and time will tell how he does in Scotland.
Well done to Hibs on their Scottish cup win a good game wasted by supporters actions at final whistle.

THEY COULD DO WORSE
A seven-year-old boy has written to a football club asking for the job as team manager.
Ewen Mackenzie's application follows the departure of John Hughes from Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Writing to chairman Kenny Cameron, he says he can speak to his headmaster to "see if he would be up for me leaving school early for important matches".
He adds: "I'm sure it won't be a problem as long as the players chip in and help me with my homework."
