Fernando/Moro/Antibala (take your pick on what to call him) coaches the Mazarrón 'A' team and tells me he's seen the Totana team a couple of times and they are a good outfit. So it should be a good game and well worth staying on for after the Cadetes game.
Give 'em an extra cheer for me!

FINAL SCORE
MAZARRÓN FB 'A' 5 vs EF TOTANA 'A 2
Mazarron took a 4-0 lead with Totana only having one shot on target until the last 10 minutes when they really came back into the game.
It was 4-1 direct from a free kick then 4-2 with a well worked goal before Mazarron FB killed the game with a 5th goal.
Watch out for the match report here from Moro when he posts it on futbolplus and we will get it onto here.
I reckon we are top of the league. But speaking to Aarons dad, he reckons that besides the top two going up there may be more as team in this league also have a team in the higher league and you can't have two teams from the same club in that league.
Oh, and of course Aaron scored.
And here are the league standings following this table topping game and only goals scored separate these two excellent young teams.
1 - MAZARRON F.B "A" P 11 W 9 L 1 D 1 GF 65 GA 17 Points 28 2 - E.F. TOTANA "A" P 11 W 9 L 1 D 1 GF 60 GA 14 Points 28

Yee haw....well done the lads!
It's a shame that the way the system works, the youngsters that get promoted have to start again because they move to the next age level. The nucleus of this team is from the Benjamines team that won promotion last year. But they started again in the second level of the Alevines. Mind you, I suppose that gives them a flying start if they're at a 'lower' level.
I think they get two years at each age level, so maybe this group could get the kudos of paying at the higher level if they do get promoted.
My Spanish isn't good enough to have this discussion with Moro!
Scorers:
Goles:
AARON DAVID FOTHERGILL (1)
ALFONSO RODRIGUEZ PEREZ (1)
FRANCISCO JAVIER MOLINA NAVARRO (1)
JOSE ANTONIO OLIVER SANTIAGO (1)
JULIAN JOSE HENARES HEREDIA (1)

Moro's report:
Week 11 Alevines... Mazarrón FB. 5 - 2 Totana...(Goals by Fco. Javier, Aaron, Joseph, Alfonso, Julianin)
A great game played on the morning of Saturday in the Complejo de Mazarrón against a Totana that ceded the leadership for the benefit of Mazarron. A Mazarrón that from the first minute was switched-on to the game. First half with few occasions for scoring by the Mazarrón and none of the Totana - to the only danger I think at all the first half was a single corner kick in the first minute of the match. Halfway through the first half the Mazarrón moves up for a corner kick. Fco. Javier scores a great goal.
It begins the second half and the Totana arrives for the game. The Mazarrón which at no time lost face achieves the second goal by Aaron's head from another corner kick. This made the Totana lose its place in the field for a moment which allowed the Mazarrón to take a third. Jose a tremendous shot put 3-0 and two minutes later one from Alfonso 4-0. With thirteen minutes to the end, six minutes of relaxation and a foul against and the Totana reduced the gap to a dangerous 4-2 with seven minutes to the end. But again in a dead-ball play Julianin's direct free kick put the final 5-2 on the scoreboard.
Highlight for the Mazarrón all the squad for their attitude and especially Frank and Abi in defence that were impassable, to Joseph and Aaron who parried, attacked, and working for the team making the best match of the season, and not to forget Fco Javier with his work, Escobar that his speed is a constant danger, Ortega with his class, Alfonso in his new position working comfortably, Julianin and Chera alternating in the lead each one of them with their qualities, Fermin to the little work he had to do that he solved with note (thanks to the work in defense of his companions). In the end, victory and new leadership, but... care! We have just won a match and there is a world ahead, the next weekend we visit Aguilas and this victory does not serve anything if we not achieve the three points. We know which is the way to do it, if we play as against the Totana victory will be close, if we play as in Lumbreras victory very far. It depends on us.

Moro's report.....
Week 12 - Alevines
Águilas B 0 - Mazarron A 7 (Julianin 2, Aaron 2, Ortega, Chera and Jose).
In the flood at 10 o'clock in the morning - cold and rainy. In which the weather, the kick-off time and the previous victory against Totana would ensure a complicated match. Since after getting the lead last week there was the risk of a possible relaxation by the team, that attached to the real flood with which we found did not presaged for good.
Start the game and it is Julianin in the min.5 when at the exit of a corner managed to open the tin. We more or less controlled the game and without allowing the Eagles chances of goal. Arrived in the min.22 that Julianin again increased the advantage. 4 min. later was Chera with the collaboration of the Águilas keeper put a score of 0-3 with which concluded the first half.
Starts the second half and the game was more animated because that the Eagles another try to counter the adverse outcome which had gone to half-time. But they were well organised team and controlled throughout the match. 12 min.Ortega at a free-kick of Jose that hit the wood picked up the rebound to 0-4, in the 19min. was Aaron which came with a shot from outside the area into the 0-5, from there the Eagles were under the 'cosh' and in the last 3 minutes two goals more; Jose towards an authentic goal of strength and technique and Aaron in another corner kick put the final 0-7.
Note the attitude of the staff especially the pairing, Frank and Abbi an authentic wall in defense, and the exhibition once more Joseph leading the team from the center of the field, above Julianin working as usual and being a real team player.
Next week a game key to our aspirations when we receive the Pulpileno 'A', which is one of the serious contenders for the promotion. To get the victory would be a very important step and lead to one of our most direct rivals a 6 points gap but if it is not with the attitude that we're showing in these last 2 games I see difficult to achieve victory.

Thought I'd just check and, sure enough (like last week against Aguilas), the schedule has been changed. I guess it's so the 'away' teams can travel together. Both games will now be at home - at the Complejo. No times available yet.
