See my comment on the Juveniles page.
When I did the schedule, the Cadetes were down to play Lorca CFB 'C' this weekend. But I now see the Federation have them playing against Peña Madridista CdS Lorca. I assume the Peña team replaced the Lorca team and I didn't pick it up.

Maybe they are playing two games, one Friday night and the second in Madrid on Sunday?

But no Domingo or FRANCISCO COSTA FERNANDEZ on the score line?? Mazarron's two hot shot strikers both missing!
Perete, the juvenile trainer is very keen to have them playing in that catoragory.
It will be interesting to see if they played & if not, why not?

FINAL SCORE 11/1/14 MAZARRÓN FB 15 vs ESTRELLA ROJA CF 0 Told you it would be a goal feast. At half time Mazarron FB were 12-0 up but made radical changes to the side for the second half scoring only another 3. Besides the score it was the passing, style and pure footballing nature of this game which made it a pleasure to watch, this is an awesome team of young footballer. The future for Mazarron FC looks in safe hands. Outstanding players were Domingo 5 goals, Francisco 3 goals and Cristian 2 goals and a brilliant display from the left back, No 3 who's name is, I think, Antonio Ortiz. GOAL SCORERS CRISTIAN COSTA CAMPILLO (2) DOMINGO CABRERA ACOSTA (5) FRANCISCO COSTA FERNANDEZ (3) GINES NAVARRO LOPEZ (1) PABLO CARREÑO ZAMORA (1) PLus 3 "own goals" put into their own net whilst under pressure.

FINAL SCORE
MAZARRÓN FB 3 v SAN CRISTOBAL 'A' 0
Mazarron FB cadetes cruised/walked/eased their way through this fixture without ever hitting top gear and squandering a hat full of chances including a penalty, but don't get me wrong, this was an excellent performance by a very confident, skilled young football team.
We had to wait until the 4th minute before a ball from deep to one of the flying wing backs, this time on the left, and after beating two defenders he placed a perfect pass to the centre of the penalty area to the awaiting Domingo who nonchalantly flicked his shot home.
1-0
It wasn't until the 25 minute before the San Cristobal net bulged again and this followed a rasping shot that the keeper fumbled but only into the path of Christian who slotted home. This goal had been proceeded by five or six clear cut chance spurned by the league leader.
2-0
But hang on in the 35th minute the Mazarron FB keeper actually had to make a save, OK not a difficult one, but a save after all. The only other couple of incidents to note was a clearance by the Mazarron FB keeper which he sliced straight into his own goal but it was cleared under the bar and on the line by Mazarrons excellent defence. Oh, and Domingo took the worse penalty I have ever seen taken and that includes by Manchester United and Sunderland, chipping it straight into the arms of the waiting away keeper. But in all honesty Domingo didn't want to take the penalty and neither, it appeared, did anyone else.
HALF TIME 2-0
After the usual extensive half time substitution the game hit a period of stalemate without the influential Domingo pulling Mazarrons strings. Domingo was replaced by and smaller boy called Dani, a mid field dynamo, and as there is obviously a shortage of shirts available so he took Domingo's number 10 shirt and with an ingenious use of white tape changed it into 19, clever boy. And it was Dani who broke the deadlock in the second half, receiving the ball on the halfway line, completed three passes with his fellow team mates before drilling the ball home passed the stranded away keep. Great move, great goal.
3-0
The game continued in the same vein until the final whistle and a job well done.
Final score
MAZARRÓN FB 3 v SAN CRISTOBAL 'A' 0 And Mazarron FB sits at the top of the league,

As you might know both the Juvenile and Cadete teams have a weekend off this weekend but Jose, Perete and the cadete trainers don't like to think that the lads will have a lazy time, so they have arranged a game for them. SATURDAY 8th February
Mazarron FC Juveniles v Mazarron FB Cadetes
At Municipal Stadium (our home ground) kickoff 12.00 noon Both these sides are either at the top of their respective league or there or there abouts, so there will be a lot of bragging right as to who comes out on top. Should be a great game. ENTRY FREE.

The Cadete side had a run out against our juvenile side due to the fact that they didn't have a game this weekend. They put out a side which was depleted by the absence of Fran and Christian both recovering from knocks. Domingo, the star of the cadete side didn't make an appearance until the second half as he is also recovering from a slight injury.
The juveniles were missing Jose, one of the main strikers with an injured ankle but welcomed back, after a long absence, Perico who has been sorely missed in both the juvenile and senior teams this season. He is no where near match fit but well on the way to full recovery.
The final score was 7-0 to the juveniles with Perico scoring 2 and the cadetes very unlucky to not get on the score sheet, hitting the bar and had a couple cleared of the line and the last two goals were very unfortunate own goals off the excellent cadete goalkeeper.
The first when at full stretch he pushed the ball onto the post only for it to bounce back, hitting him on his head and going in and the second again a great save only for it to hit a defender then onto the unfortunate keeper for another own goal, what a pity for a fine young keeper, but that's life.
So all in all a good run out for both team before it's back to the reality of the league next weekend.
