It's not only Notts County that are struggling to pay their bills! FC Jumilla, who have been relegated from Segunda B to the Tercera, have until Sunday 30th to find 52,000€ or be in danger of dropping through to the Preferente. Watch this space. Apparently the deadline was FRIDAY (28th)! "The Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE) informs that FC Jumilla and Ontinyent CF are the clubs that, after the deadline this Friday, June 28 at 12:00 hours, have not paid the total of the payments established by the Mixed Commission AFE-2nd Division B to cover the amounts claimed by its players.
The Mixed Commission has already informed the Royal Spanish Football Federation about this issue, which will proceed to apply the measures included in article 192 of the General Regulations of the RFEF. "
Which will mean they will be relegated to the Preferente (subject to the Fed. confirmation) and Ciudad de Murcia will remain in the Tercera for next season.

I didn't know if to post this here or in the World Football section!!!
"Solihull Moors have been invited to compete in the Scottish Challenge Cup next season, as a result of finishing second in the National League in 2018-19.
Last season, Boreham Wood and Sutton United became the first two English league clubs to play in the competition, which has been running since 1990 and has also contained teams from Wales and Ireland since 2016.
As the highest ranked two teams still competing in England’s fifth tier, along with Wrexham, who finished fourth, Tim Flowers’ (pictured) Moors will enter the 2019-20 competition on the weekend of 7/8 September." (BBC Sport)

Hmmmmm.....they're at it again! How often have we heard rumours about a merger between Lorca FC and Lorca Deportiva? Meetings of both teams with the Lorca mayor have happened. We await the time when they say they can't work together and we can get back to normal! Watch this space. Well that didn't take long! "There will be no union in Lorca football this season. The president of Lorca FC has confirmed to DXT Cope this afternoon that there will be no union in Lorca "because it is not viable, we are working on the next season's project that will be released from June 28."
The businessman from Madrid will not meet tomorrow with the mayor of the city, Diego José Mateos due to the heavy agenda he has during the next few days. The meeting has been postponed to next week, where Torres will tell the new mayor that there will be no union because it is not viable.
Torres, said yesterday in a statement sent through the official channel of the club on Twitter that "Lorca FC exists and will continue to exist."
In this way, any possibility of the union of the two teams in the city being effective is broken.
Both Diego José Mateos and Joaquín Flores, mayor and president of CF Lorca Deportiva were predisposed to seek a solution after the meeting held yesterday afternoon. Flores indicated at the end of it to DXT Cope that "If Roberto Torres has good predisposition there will be a great football project in Lorca" " (COPE Lorca Radio)
