Barca not having it their own way against Villarreal. Were it not for a poor stop by the Villarreal keeper on the stroke of half-time, Barca would be 0-1 down! Neymar evens it up with a tap-in.
But 5 mins into the second half and Pique goes to sleep.....misses the ball completely....the yellow submarine come forward en-masse (well, all 2 of them!) and it's 1-2!
That didn't last long! A minute later and it's even-Stevens again. Suarez to Rafinha and it's 2-2.
I can't keep up.....
Another minute goes by and it's 3-2! El Leo after another Suarez assist.
It's all happening now! Villarreal score but are narrowly off-side. Hmmmmm. Neymar scythed down by the keeper - no penalty. Hmmmmm.
Just like today's Mazarron game, "a disgusting pitch, blowing a gale were all a receipt for an upset" (well, maybe not the pitch at the Camp Nou!). But it wasn't to be. Barca survive to keep the top of the table interesting. Final score 3-2.
Bring on the TWO Copa games between these two teams.

I hope you're all watching this!
Bilbao versus Barca.
Pretty routine for the first hour. Barca 2-0 up.
Then................
60 mins...Rico for Bilbao...1-2 61 mins...own goal by Bibao...1-3 64 mins...sweeping Barca move to Neymar...1-4 66 mins...sweeping move for Bilbao...2-4
Where will it end?
85 mins...Busquets gets stone-wall clobbered but the ball gets to Messi...Busquets gets up and collects a return...slips it to Pedro...number 5! 2-5
That's all folks. But it could have been 7 or 8. Neymar had 4 1-on-1 with the keeper and only put one away!

Time for el Clasico..........
19 mins...and you wouldn't expect Jeremy Mathieu to put Barca into the lead....but it's 1-0.
30 mins....and guess who's there to make it 1-1. No 7!
37 mins...and the darker side of No 7 shows yet again. But Sr Mateu Lahoz is not to be conned like Craig Thompson was. Into the book for el Clasico DIVE!!!
(I'll add the video later.)
Gareth Bale is having a good/bad game (delete as applicable!). Goal disallowed for a dubious offside then couldn't hit a barn door from 5 yards.
Half-time and the score is 3 to 2. Amarillas for Ramos (surprise!), Pepe (surprise!) and Ronaldo (surprise!) versus Jordi Alba and Suarez.
55 mins...stupendous goal by Luis Suarez! Long ball from Dani Alves, first touch gets it under control, slips it past Casillas. 2-1.
60 mins...and it's getting rough out there! Blood is drawn from Iniesta's elbow to Ramos's mouth! 1 or 2 teeth gone I should think. But it looked accidental to me. Ronaldo has a sly kick out at Mathieu. And Mascherano, not to be outdone, has a few words with Sr. Lahoz.....amarillo for him!
That's what all games should be like. Final score Barcelona 2-1 Real Madrid.

CELTA 0 BARCELONA 1
Will this game better be remembered for 'GRASSGATE'?
Barcelona scrape a 0-1 win but during an incident towards the end of the game with Barcelona wasting time this happened:
Celta had Fabian Orellana sent off for throwing some grass at Sergio Busquets as he was getting ready to take a free-kick.
The Chilean, frustrated with how long Busquets was spending to take his free-kick, picked a lump of grass off the ground and threw it in the face of the Spain international, who held his face and started to go down.
Despite the significance of the result, the game might be better remembered for Orellana's dismissal with two minutes left.
GRASS! I ask you, GRASS?

Sevilla vs Barca
14 mins...Typical Messi.....0-1
30 mins...How to take a free kick!
0-2 (Neymar)
37 mins...rocket from Banega 1-2
¡"La Bombonera" se estremece!
Half-time 1-2
83 mins...it's been coming for a while...2-2. (Gameiro)
Piqué's not the fasting defender in the world....he may not even get in the top100!
Mal...muy mal...2 goals up and they only get a single point! Final 2-2.
From two teams at the top to two at the bottom.......over to Almeria contra Granada......

Barca versus Valencia...
Ray Hudson time!
Piqué ... "as graceful as a three-legged giraffe on roller skates!"
The Barca defence ... "they're strung out like washing on a line!"
93 mins ... "There's Messi, in a cow's field all on his own."
2-0 ... first to Saurez in the first minute, second to Messi in the last minute.

Cordoba 0-3 at 50 mins.
Ray H. talking pool over Messi's header from nowhere (well from Alves actually!)...
"Just like Minnesota Fats....No 8 in the bottom corner."
54 mins and it's Alves the provider again...Suarez header to the bottom corner again. 0-4
60 mins and Neymar misses an open goal.
"Sloppy as a soup sandwich!"
65 mins - this is astounding - Pique makes it a third headed goal for 0-5.
80 mins and Messi makes it 0-6 to move ahead of Ronaldo for the Pichichi!
Phil Schoen's been listening to Ray Hudson too much...
"Pedro, the fourth wheel on the Barcelona tricycle!"
Now, this is why Messi is a better player than Ronaldo. Ronaldo kicks the net when Arbeloa took 'his' goal away. Here Neymar wins a penalty and gives the ball to Messi for the kick. Messi gives it back to get Neymar on the scoresheet! Brilliant. 0-7.
88 mins and suarez completes his hat-trick. 0-8
Cordoba relegated.

Here's a quirky one for you... Real Madrid and Barcelona have both played a total of 2648 La Liga matches. And both have conceded the same number of goals - 3027.

BARCELONA PRISON FC ABOUT TO GET A NEW STRIKER
Argentina and Barcelona star Lionel Messi has moved a step closer to being tried for tax evasion after a Spanish high court rejected his latest appeal.
Messi and his father Jorge are both accused of defrauding the authorities of more than €4m (£3.1m; $5m).
The court ruled that Messi should not be granted impunity for not knowing what was happening with his finances.
The pair, who deny the charges, are alleged to have withheld the money between 2007 and 2009.
