NEXT HOME GAME
PREFERENTE AUTONOMICA UNICO - game 15
Sunday 10/12/2017 kickoff 4.30pm (16:30)
To be played at the ESTADIO MUNICIPAL DE MAZARRON
MAZARRON F.C. v REAL MURCIA CITY
Back home again against another team from the lower reaches of our division and hopefully we will do a bit better than last weekend.
On Sunday Mazarrón came home pointless from Juvenia following a 1-0 defeat while a couple of teams in the promotion race took advantage of our defeat resulting in Mazarrón dropping to fourth place but the lads are still very much in the mix, a good result on Sunday could be crucial to ensure that we don’t slip further behind from the top two automatic promotion places.
Murcia City has an down and up day at home against Bullense coming from two goals down at half time to win 3-2 with their winner coming in the 88th minute.
Murcia City are now a regular opponent of Mazarrón FC the teams having faced each other over the past few years. City finished 13th last season in our league during which time we drew 2-2 at their place but beat them 2-1 in Mazarrón.
CURRENT STATS
4th Mazarrón F.C P 14 W 8 D 3 L 3 GF 30 GA 20 Points 27
12th P 14 W 4 D 3 L 7 GF 23 GA 24 Points 15
11 of their 23 goals have come from the boot of Alberto Perez Alcazar Perez who plays number 10 and was responsible for their second half come back last weekend scoring all three goals, after him they do not have any players regularly contributing to their goal tally so stop Alberto and you stop Murcia City.
SANCTIONS AND SUSPENSIONS
Real Murcia City’s second highest scorer, Alex, picked up his 5 yellow last weekend so should be missing but as always we will wait until the Federation publishes its sanction list on Thursday night.
