It is thought that the league will commence either the last weekend in August or first weekend in September, they are not as quick as the FA over here in releasing the fixtures.
All details will be on posting the "Preferente autonomica" page of this forum where details of preseason games will also be displayed.

PEVIOUS POST:-
"On Bala Azuls Twitter page it says that Bala Azul and S Mazarron C have merged with the slug and Agustine running the show!"
UPDATE
I Spoke to Javi at Aguilas preseason game and he says following the huge reduction of the grant from the Mazarron town hall to all sporting teams in the area it could be all change again at Bala Azul.
Javi now thinks Keni will return again to lead Bala next season.

Lots of Twitter noise as the 'merger' was touted, but nothing for the past month! In fact, the only recent evidence on any Bala Azul activity was the inclusion of their team in the Cadetes league.

Ah ha...activity at the Port! The following has today (Wednesday) been posted on the Trecera.com website... " The CD Bala Azul are looking for players for their senior team which this season plays in the Preferente.
If you are interested in joining our project for the 2015/2016 campaign that is about to begin, just come and meet and train with our team at the Sports Complex of Mazarrón.
You can do it tomorrow, August 27, at 19.30; or on Tuesday, September 1, at 20 hours.
We are waiting for you!"

Hi again guys. Just to make sure how close is the complex from Puerto de Mazarron, how long would it take on a push bike? Cheers

Hi Dan.
The Complejo Deportivo is about 2.5 km from the Arbol roundabout in the centre of the Port.
I suppose that's 5-15 mins cycling depending on fitness etc.
For me it would be an hour and a half!
There are two things to consider, the road can be dangerous as it's a single carriageway/two lane road. Also there is a significant 'hill' about halfway.

Cheers, are they still looking for players as I saw they had a lot at pre-season training? Also, someone told me Bala Azul are playing at the Mazarron pitch, is that true?

Hi
Mazarron FC are always looking for new players. We are at home next weekend so pop along and speak to Jose, the club president, about training times.
Bala Azul certainly do not play, train or have anything to do with us, it would be like saying Man City and Man United sharing facilities, a big no no.

Haha big rivals then! My bad, they're not playing at their home pitch at the moment though are they?

No, they let it run down on a council promise that it was going to be replaced with a 3G artificial pitch and is now a waste ground, the promise was not kept. So Bala now play on the plastic pitches between the port and town at the sports complex.
Meanwhile we kept the upkeep of our playing surface even though we had the same council promise of a replacement. We play on grass with the pitch in very good condition.
Moral of the story, don't believe what politicians tell you.

AGUSTINE
Bala Azul apparently have a new manager after two games and it's our old trainer Agustine.
He certainly get around, Mazarron FC, where he was in charge when we were relegated. Sporting Mazarron Camposol, or whatever they called themselves, they went out of business after two seasons. Now he's stepped into the hot seat at Bala Azul. Whatch this space.

Yep, Mazarron train at the complex, they will be there 8pm on Tuesday.
Attendance is anything from 2-300 dependant on opposition, the Spanish are not big travellers to away games unlike us Brits.
There is a very active indoor league in the port but I don't have any details about it.
